| A large Wetherspoons pub opposite the pier. It has large L-shaped lounge which is laid out primarily for serving food to tourists who fill the place at lunchtime. Food service can be slow and they are bad at clearing the debris afterwards. It is quieter in the evening when the daytrippers have gone home. It has a reasonable choice of real ales including a very nice pint of Old Hooky when I was in there for their curry night which is still brilliant value for money. | Popped in here back in Jan during the snow,was quite impressed to find that the bar manager had "skied in" to work!! The ale supped was v good and the breakfasts the following morning were well done, 8/10 fat_beer_badger - 22 Apr 2010 15:46 |
| The service was ok, nothing amazing, depending on who served you. The food wasn't that good either, but it did come out quickly compared to other places I have been. I'm definately not going back and wouldn't recommend you go! asimms - 1 Dec 2007 19:02 |
