Went along this bank holiday sunday for the beer fest and live music. 10 real ales and 3 strong ciders all at 2.50 a pop - not bad. When we walked in it appeared that all conversation stopped and heads turned as we were not locals but we were soon directed through to the beer garden and it was a different story with thelandlady being nice and friendly. Tried a couple or three of the ales which were ok and listened to folk music. Didn't try any food but would say that the WC's were old but very clean.

Old-style small-town pub with pool table, gaming machines and Sky TV. Only one real ale on, Exmoor, which wasn't well kept. The greeting was friendly enough, and I wasn't uncomfortable here. Not the best pub in New Romney, but worth a look in, and could be better if they sorted out the beer.

Enjoyed a nice lunchtime pint in here on a very windy and wet day, the landlady was very friendly and the pub was busy, I did not eat here as I had already had lunch in the cafe down the road and i would have been the only person eating here as no-one else was eating at the time on that day. Ok pub, good beer, would call again

the new inn was took over by the ex landlady who ran the pub from 1996 till 2002 when roy holtz took it over and avsolutly ruined it for 5yrs it was left to rack rack and ruin it was very nearly condemned but although it was shut for seven months and left in what can only be described as a total mess that even a dosser would not have lived in it,
it was took over by caroline and jock who with the help of mr kevin cambell have managed to turn it round again they are now doing entertainment fri and sat nights(no trouble they are all barred) and the resteraunt is becoming the success it should be.
it is really starting to kick i with evening and afernoon meals & a super sunday carvery
so please pop in this was written on the 14th april 2008

Not a great pub at all. Beer isn't very consistent, regualrs are not very friendly, and you can guarantee a fight will break out if you're unfortunate enough to be there on a weekend night. Avoid!
