I recently visited Beaufort arms, was very impressed with the pub in general, great atmosphere and great range of Ales to choose from , i have been back to it many times as an after surfing drink.
the food is reasonably priced and you never have to wait too long for it to arrive, the staff are always friendly,
no queries with it, recomend it to anyone passing through Kittle.

I was on a holiday touring around the coast of Wales when I first wandered into the Beaufort arms, and its the only pub that I've visited that I've been back to.
There is such a friendly atmosphere, despite the fact that the pub has always been quite busy the staff are incredibly polite and always made time to had a chat.
The locals, who contrary to the previous reviews love the pub, are also very friendly and were very keen to help me with some advice about the local area.
The food, both times I have visited the Beaufort Arms the food has been absolutely outstanding and I've never had to wait long for the impeccable service.
The second time I visited the Beaufort Arms was a Monday night which is the quiz night at about 2000 the pub filled to capacity with locals who come every monday for the quiz. It was amazing fun.
I look forward to my next visit!!

The most appalling food I have ever eaten. Overpriced, tasteless (a T bone full of gristle and a peppercorn sauce that was a candidate for a trading standards investigation!).
Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I agree with previous comment "locals avoid this pub like the plague" - I can see why.
To be fair the staff waived the bill (I would not have paid anyway. The beer Rev James was good (the only good thing I can say). Not to be recommended

Walked past here today about 2pm ish ( Monday ) and saw it was closed, and it was a lovely sunny day in Mumbles, and I would have thought they needed the trade, as it was quite busy all round with people everywhere, but having said that, just about every other Pub was closed on the front as well, so perhaps they ALL close on a Monday, even if it is a lovely day.........

Very Strange, methinks !!!!!!........

Called in here last Friday evening, and I must say I got the same feeling in here that I had the last time we called here, its NOT a friendly place at all, seems to be full of people that have been drinking ALL day, and don't know when to go home. We sat outside, in the cold shade, finished our drinks and left. Perhaps Friday night is not the right place to visit this place, certainly seems that way to me......

Not sure if the new people running this Pub are taking it seriously, as I've driven past here a lot lately in the Afternoons, and it is normally shut. So I don't know how they expect to make it work........

Just re-opened again on Friday the 12, under new Management ( so the posters say ) so we will just have to wait and see what happens with this Pub now. It certainly changes hands on a regular basis nowdays, must be a reason for that I suppose !!!!......

Been closed for a week or so now. Seems to have been abandoned in fact, curtains shut, all posters taken down from windows, and no sign of life there at all. No doubt it will re-open in a couple of weeks again " Under New Management " though....

Called in here Friday afternoon, to meet a few friends, and it was certainly an improvement from our last visit. Seems like the Manager ( who I suspect is Dave below ) has been reading the posts on here, and actually done something about the place. Which has to be a step in the right direction I suppose .........

Its not the greatest pub in the world, but it is a very friendly, student friendly, female friendly, relaxed pub mainly offering a cheap range of drinks and food.

There are 14 tvs and 2 big screens so watching sport here isn't an issue ! With 4 pool tables and lots of video gaming machines - its a place to have BIG fun with mates.

You will find it is very busy on the weekends which gives it a great atmosphere - unless your looking for somewhere for a quiet table with the wife ....

They do a quiz night on a Thursday - aimed at the younger generation. If your a bit of a boffin or pub quiz good guy - theres a good chance you'll get highly placed in the winners :o)

Another Pub in the area offering very cheap meals at a price of £2:99, mind you I dread to see the state of the Kitchen in this place, if the Bar, and Toilets are anything to go by.......

This pub must have one of the best beer garden views in the country. The staff were friendly and the Welsh cider (Taffy) was excellent and much needed following a stomp round the head. The Lamb Cawl was good. The entertainment of the cows on the beach was an extra special touch!

Quality pub. Amazing beer garden overlooking the bay, and the two ales were both top banana. Good bar snacks, including Scampi Fries. YES

The Worm’s Head Hotel is in a superb location and there are stunning views over Rhossili Bay and Worms Head from the bar, the lounge and the outside terrace. The bar area is perhaps a little bit basic, but the adjoining lounge is extremely comfortable. Two real ales were available at the time of our visit, both from the local Hurns Brewing Co … Tomas Watkin’s Cwrw Haf and Worms Head.

The food was excellent too. It was good quality, nicely presented, quickly served and given the hotel’s prime tourist location, very good value. The beer was pretty good and not overpriced either. The staff were nice too … the barmaid even taught me how to pronounce “Cwrw Haf” as she was pulling my pint.

The slight downside is having to use the village car park, but given the other attractions within walking distance, £2.50 for all day, is not a rip-off.

Rhossili and the pub will definitely be on our itinerary next time we visit Gower

Another Pub in the area with a " To Let " sign up on its frontage. Seems like nobody wants to run a Pub in Mumbles nowdays. Can't say I blame them actually, as its certainly a dying trade here now.....

Very disappointed, effectively a room with a bar at one end and a few tables and chairs. Beer options were limited, seemed to cater for the lager crowd. Music was extremely loud making conversation impossible without shouting, was glad to leave.

My experince of this place was very short lived due to the smell of urine, I could not stand it much longer so had to trott to the next pub. The beer that i had was nice though
