One of the great community pubs CAMRA is always banging on about but you rarely see. Beer from local brewery Chalk Hill - OK, but not very exciting. My CHB was in good condition.

This pub is still holding up very well with superb ales and good wholesome value for money grub. They obviously believe in the maxim of if it ain't broke don't fix it, as nothing has been changed to the detriment of the hostelry in the last 20 years or so. Well done to the management. Well worth a visit for lovers of traditional pubs and ale.

Superb back street pub, well worth the long walk from the station. Two bars, dart board, decent juke box, good local ale & food. The pool table wasn't set up which was a shame - this would have made it perfect.

For away fans visiting Norwich, this is well worth a trip if you get to Norwich early. The pub will organise a taxi to the ground as well.

Now open, and tastefully modernised. 2 beers from Adnams and Woodforde's Wherry on the pumps when I visited, and the food looked good as well. The beer prices are cheaper than those at the Bull as well. Well worth a visit.

A lot of work going on here. It is rumoured that the hotel will reopen next month. Watch this space!

Closed at present. Local gossip is that alterations will be made, and the pub will be open by Easter. I hope so - Walsingham needs 2 pubs at least during the busy pilgrim season.

A lovely JDW pub, great staff ,very clean, prompt service , newish and a decent beer selection. a pint is £1.69, a roast or steak on offer day is £4.99 WITH a pint. The Limes has an odd glass lobby leading up to the superb toilets, an open area so that you can observe the food preperation and a large window showing the beers on stillage. In all honesty for a new pub this is heavenly. My son doesn't like pubs and has a particular dislike for 'spoons but he adored this place. 10/10.

An excellent example of a 'Spoons public house. It's comfortable, spacious and welcoming. I sampled some well kept ales on the day I went in. Have only visited once but I shall give it another look very soon.

Erm......it's back to The Limes; complete with a JDW makeover I'd say. Very busy during the market day lunchtime when we called in.
Best beer we had tasted in a few days.

First impressions is a nice cosy pub. Nice selection of real ales including Abbot, Wherry, Oak. Nice open real fire. Landlord is jolly and prices are very competitive, lots of music ranging from Folk to 1950s, 60s and 1970s. They are in the Grapevine magazine for gigs so give them a look

Large garden and lots of parking spaces, I certainly will come to this pun more often and so should you.

First time I been in this pub and I have to say I was very surprised. It is old fashion type pub, and a really good atmosphere. A good selection of ales and very reasonable prices, all very well kept. Good lagers as well. It has a pool table, and open fire, and nice carpets. Land lord is a cheerful chap, and traditional.

The prices are really cheap the cheapest I have found. It has live music on Saturdays, and various type of folk on other week days as mentioned in another review.

It has a really big garden and lots of parking. Worth visit and you will be greeted in a very friendly manner. If any students out there worth a trip. I personally will be visiting this place again and again.

Nice traditional pub, good ales all well kept and very reasonable prices. Large beer garden at rear. Plenty of parking space. Nice open fire very homely. Great music, including folk on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Music on the weekend ranging from 1950s to 1970s era.

Landlord very jolly and traditional not many pubs like this anymore so I recommend people some along if you like a traditional pub and good atmosphere. Lots of old world items behind the bar. Pub has its own Darts and pool and crib teams.

Fab all round. Great beer, sports, music, handmade pizzas, a quiz and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Brilliant

I visited the Plasterers Arms recently during the City of Ale week and think it was probably the best pub we went to! They had a fantastic selection of Cask Ale (we counted 15 pumps) and a big selection of craft keg beers too. Friendly, welcoming and great atmosphere. The pizzas were good too.

Had a few drinks in here last Friday, was cornered by the barman coming out of the loo and he checked my nostrils for remnants of cocaine! Thought this was very rude and also indicative of the kind of clientele the pub attracts. There was a DJ set up in the bar playing some awful music too. Wont be going back.

An excellent location high up on the cliffs with wonderful sea views. I ate here last year after it was refurbished and the food and service was excellent. Sadly, like so many places they could not maintain this standard long-term. The bar service was so slow and off-hand that we decided to enjoy the view for a while, drink up and eat elsewhere. Another deciding factor was £4.40p for a pint of Guinness; you can pay less than that in a central London hotel. No wonder the place was almost empty.

Agree with the comment about the service recently, definitely needs seeing to. Beer prices are all the same £3.40, so I ended up paying the same for mild as I would have for a strong ale - weird. Also, the staff appear to charge considerably different higher prices for halves??
The beer is usually excellent, but this is a place now trading on past reputation, it appears.
