We had a meal here today,and looked forward to it, but sadly, since my last visit, we have now found out that the Chef has left ( and it really shows )and the food has become rather mundane, which is a real shame.....

As The Mill, since May 2006, this place has improved massively and offers a much improved range of beers/spirits and a nice atmosphere. For me it is spoilt a bit by the ubiquitous telescreens and the (generally dire) pop music which gets progressively louder as the night wears on.

Well,having recently visited this establishment again,we found it has now decided to put on a Special Lunchtime Menu,where all the dishes are £4:50.....and they are all superb indeed, so there is no reason to worry about cost at all, must be the best kept secret in Swansea for excellent food, and the staff are always very pleasant too.

What a lovely place this is nowdays, it used to be a bit of a dump as The Smoking Dog, but the new owners have spruced the place up, given it a brilliant new Menu, and created a lovely atmosphere too. We have eaten here on many occasions now and the food is superb ( if a little bit expensive ) Highly recommended.....Give it a try Folks....

Another pub in Swansea has now been refurbished. The Smoking Dog, now called the Mill, looks too posh for its old clientele, and prices have been hiked as well. It may struggle. But if you desire a clean, smart pub to relax in briefly, here's your man.

Seriously student place with giant jenga and all sort everywhere. Good fun, after hours beers from the corner shop down the road if you havent had enough!

Small, cheap (especially if you are a student) with a nice atmosphere. The beer's not great though.
