As of Saturday 24th July, this is now closed. Shame really as in a prominent spot and should have done better. Can only be down to bad management. I visited it quite a bit and was always lacking in atmosphere and a bit overpriced too, but the latter is the norm for Ealing.

Hopeful that this will reappear once again as a new pub. I remember it when is was the Three Pigeons which was a lovely boozer.

I like this pub good atmosphere nice land lady lovely staff one of the better Ealing pubs if only they would take more care over the quality of there beer. Still no reason not to give it a go.I,m going to give this pub a rating of 5 i would give 8 if the cellars are sorted out.

slight typo/untypedo, meant pretty ravenous

pretty ravenous

I had a lasagne here that was cold in the middle, I was already tiddly and pretty so I ate it anyway but that is pretty wrong. The only good thing is they have a quiz machine that I won a bit of money on but I have to rate it low on the shocking meal experience, if I want a poorly cooked meal I only have to stay at home.

I agree with what was said before me by msgranger. Awful place. Chavtastic as you like. Shut. It. Down. I grew up in Croydon and I feel like I'm back there sometimes on a night out in Ealing and it shouldn't be like that..

i can only say one think about this pub - DREADFUL!! its full of people that want to start fights. without fail there is a fight every friday and sat night. Park View should be shut down as it gives ealing a bad name. there are many other pubs to go to - dont go there, unless you want smashed glass over your head!

What has happened to this once great place? All the decent bar staff have left, the old door staff have now been replaced by two men that look like they cant be bothered and will let just about anyone in and their only decent DJ (sat nite) has now also disapeared being replace by ?.
I sent down on sat and the place was empty! Still has the same manager so I dont know what has happened.
I also find it quite funny that the managers husband who is also the Fri nite DJ feels the need to review himself (your name at the bottom gives it away mate!)
"i discovered this pub about 5 weeks ago,and find it very friendly with pleasent door staff and bar staff.the friday night i visited the dj was dropping some great r&B TRACKS(i think he is irish,LOVELY ACCENT."

I liked it a few months back, now its full of the wrong crowd...there was also glass smashed all over the dance floor which is for obvious reasons, not good.

When thinking of this place I can only come up with the same word that everyone else has used ! - BLAND BLAND BLAND BLAND BLAND !
anonymous - 12 Sep 2007 05:58
I think I should say bland, so I will!! It's actually worse than bland, it's nasty cheaply designed and executed bland that could make this place as bad as the pub here before (think it was called the Bell)

About as much character as grey wallpaper.

A great bar, the staff are very nice, the foods top notch and well priced as is the booze, and the DJ plays some good songs. Well worth a visit!

Pubs not bad that is after taking your money all night you dont mind being treated like cattle and herded out by the gorillas on the door two minutes after the bell. there are better pubs in Ealing my advice use them.

The ladies toilets in this pub are so far away, they used to be downstairs when it was the Rat & Parrot so why move them.
bub - 25 Aug 2005 17:11
I can assure you there are better pubs in Ealing, terrible atmosphere, and the lady manager only seems to have one change of clothes
Homer1 - 13 May 2005 18:44
nice enough pub- however the blonde bar maid working when i went in was more interested in getting herself a new man than serving me. could be much better with some decent staff
patrice - 24 Apr 2005 12:37
unbelievably bland. never before have i come across a pub so incredibly ordinary. fascinating. just had to post a comment and rate this pub a extremely ok but not great mark of 5 out of ten. god, i'm bored.

It's a creche! Mostly anyway, with a few oldies thrown in for good measure. Food is mediocre but good value. There is a hard-working Polish (?) lady behind the bar but that is it's most positive attribute.

Very friendly and pleasent pub. Cathy the landlady is funy and always smiling and laughting with the punters, DJ every Thru, Fri and Sat night.
Two meals for the price of one.
And if you want a quite drink in the middle of the week with some lovely soft background music, you can.
At the end of every month there is a theme night and a bar extension untill 12:00.
On a Sat night the DJ plays R&B and on Fri night for those thirty something's like myself it can take you right back to the days of the eighties and how good were they (when we did not have a care in the world)But there is something for everone.
Go down some weekend and give it ago, like they say you will never know unless you go.

Went here once on a Friday and have never been surrounded by so many children since my last days at school.
Astonishingly, there were bouncers at the door, and they clearly couldn't give a rat and parrots arse. Some of the lads weren't even capable of shaving yet while the girls looked like they should still be playing with dolls. 27 is too young an age to feel very very elderly. We were definitely the oldest in there that night, barring, perhaps, the bouncers.

Faceless 'trendy' pub but nothing too offensive or unpleasant about it.
