went in this pub at the weekend never again the smell as you go in was rotten had one drink did not even finish it it is a rough pub everyone looks as u go in and dont stop looking needs a good clean

The bad reviews are a load of bollocks, the pub may have a reputation but this is a friendly pub that will make anyone welcome, and i have never seen any punches thrown.. its a traditional pub with beer mats an is down to earth i will be defo going again and again
Ps Mr kennedy i think you'll find the ear biting thing happened alsewhere.. and Angel is no more!!

If you are seen to be "alright" you will be fine in here but don't push your luck. Keep it civil and you can have a few beers here with a small group. Only the insane would think about having a game of darts.

With the lack of custom you'd think the landlord would have time to sort this place out a bit. Since the smoking ban the smell of piss-stained regulars shines through. Real lack of beers.

On the two occasions I have been in this pub I have been impressed, it's a traditional boozer, which is an oasis of the late 80's in 2000's Sutton. Nice pint of Courage Best, and very friendly staff.
