Varsity, Didsburyback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Nothing out of the ordinary really, in fact, it wasn't good, i'd only go for the cheap Foster's to be honest. It's too awful to stay for long periods though.

staff are decent enough in here, the BEER IS P*SS so dont bother, but the staff merrily served me up a pint of white wine spritzer to numb the maddening verbiage of manchesters ignorant booze swilling clowns.
also had a chat with a chap in the toilet about pheramone wipes and the sh*t you can buy in those condom dispensers, most intelligent chat I had in didsbury all night.

i wouldn't recommend this pub....
a drunk, verbally attacked my wife and the pubs stance was for the man to be bought/given(?) another drink at the bar, we did not feel safe and can honesly say we will not go back!!!

Its another possible stop off as you pass through Didsbury...Look through the windows & see if its worth trying to get served...the staff are usually quite speedy.

Quite a nice pub, a lot quieter than the Hogshead and the food is pretty good.

Weird tables with one side on the floor and high stools with the other side on a raise ledge and normal seats
