It's still full of drunken builders but the atmosphere is good with the music, not overly busy but friendly bar staff and service make it a 7/10.

Billed on BITE as Battle’s worst pub, to my mind this place came in at Battle’s number two pub, if only for the Bowling Green next door, the choice of pub games, friendly bar staff and the wonderful Victorian toilets.

The Senlac is a friendly Pub in Battle near the station. In fact, being the nearest to the station it's very handy as you can time your drinks perfectly with the time of your train. They make the best gin and tonic I have ever tasted and the food's good too.The best thing though is that they have live music every friday night.Good on yer!

An evening out with friends. we visited this place, staff very friendly, food looked good, plentiful & reasonably priced. Certainly do not agree with previous comments. But there again it was our first time. No smaoking at lunchtime.

We went in here and left after one drink, not very nice.

Went yesterday, bloody dreadful. Its grubby, tacky and smelly with mediocre to poor plastic food.

found this pub on leaving the station and will be visiting it again. the beer (bombardier) was perfect and the welcome was first class,(the landlady having a joke with you was a nice change). there is also a thai restaurant in which i had a lovely meal. a 5 star pub which i will visiting again & again on my visits to battle.

Not quite your typical station pub, but not far off it. Sells Bombardier, normally a reliable beer, although not here. There are better pubs along the High Street.
