Had about 10 people in all night on a Friday truly a dire place go to the offi and get some takeaways and go home

lovely pub needs a lot of work very dirty needs a good clean, staff are very nice must be boring for them though its dead!
needs new good strong managers to make it something that even resembles it 5 yrs ago.

Just started going in there again and what a change for the better! Dawn and Graham are down to earth, friendly and make you feel very welcome! Keep up the good work!

excellent boozer beer garden great with kids although it is a bit quite sometimes but that seems to be changing since they got new management Dawn and Graham. They are trying to get the place to be as popular as it once was given some time or leeway they might do it as they seem to be trying all kinds of events to entice the punters back. I hope they succeed if the place shuts again it has had it lets put it this way nobody can be as bad as the temps the brewery keeps bringing in if you used to like this place come back on a friday or pool night lets get back the way it was!

Was built with the bousing estate around 1960. Started as the "Grasshopper" (aka "Arsecropper"), then became "Hoppers" (aka "Fleapit" -what moron thinks up new pub names?) before being named after the estate. Like most of Crawley, the estate was populated by Cockneys originally from the slums down the Old Kent Road, whose offspring do very well because of Gatwick Airport nearby. So no sticky carpets or busted furniture, just a clean, bright place (selling bog-standard pubco stuff) where you can look for a punch-up in comfort.
