If you looked up pretentious in the dictionary there would be a picture of this bar next to it. Over priced, overdone and under par. On the plus side friendlt staff.

Probably the best bar on high street, always packed at the weekend with a party crowd. Staff always super friendly, great cocktails. Highly recommended.

I am under 30, don't drink real ale and have never touched a cardigan in my life and to be honest I thought this bar was a load of pretentious toss. Another metrosexual hangout with the usual "cram them in and rip them off" stance.

lol, just read your other reviews, it all makes sense now.
Ok Rinky Dink dos'nt do 'Real Ale', and it dos'nt do quiz night on mondays !! BUT if your looking for a young livley bar, (i.e. your under 35 and dont wear cardigans!!) then this place is great :)

great little bar on clapham high street, always got a good crowd and the staff are very friendly. bit suprised about a couple of the other reviews, but then again there are some pretty anal people in clapham, they probably got upset when the bar staff actually said hello to them!! anyway check it out for yourself its one of the best on the high street.

Totally agree with the comment below this is one the bars that gives clapham its w*nky reputation much better bars/pubs in the area.

Its ok, some of the cock-tails are very tasty if youre a girl. Is a bit too small for my liking and always rammed with a random bunch. BUT it'll do and its not shit.

Went here in July (okay, so its taken a while to post).
Good things:
- Friendly bar staff and bouncer
- Comfy sofas
- Music didn't offend (can't remember what it was though)
Bad things:
- Started to really fill up around 11 and the queue was a bit hap-hazard what with picnic tables either side of the door.
- They're a cocktail bar and say on the menu that they'll make a cocktail if you can't see one you like. I asked for a Mint Julep, Which got blank stares. I described how to make it - they didn't have any mint. I said okay, I'll have a Banana Daiquiri (which was on the menu) - they didn't have any bananas. How about a Vodka redbull? No redbull. Vodka and diet coke? No diet, only full fat. Still water? Only sparkling, sorry. Maybe they had supply problems, but this was 9pm on a Saturday night.
I might try it again, but Clapham has reliable cocktail bars where they do have ingredients and the staff have 'the knowledge'.

Me again, I take back my previous comment. Went there with a chick the other night, and she was well impressed with the cocktails, which I must admit looked tasty. Friendly bar staff too.

LOL, is that the same "oasis" that got closed down for food poisioning ! Been here once its not that bad, but if you want a quiet night out with a pint of bitter and a bag of pork scratchings forget it !

Used to be an all you can eat chinese restaurant called Oasis which was f'ing amazing. Then they decided to turn it into one of the worst bars in Clapham. bad move pile of shit.

Brilliant, if you like all bar one & fine line then forget it ! this place is cool, kitch and funky, fab cocktails, great atmosphere. its even got snakeskin seats and a sex toy machine in the toilets !!

went to rinky dink last Saturday night and WOW ! at last a decent bar in Clapham, great cocktails, music was fab, very relaxed,makes a great change from the usual bland dross on the high street !
