This pub/restaurant is not in Oxford but is some distance away in Stadhampton and you will probably need a car and a healthy wallet to go there.

Still my favourite pub of all. One thing though, some of the prices are getting a little silly. Justin the owner has opened another establishment with the same name in Beaconsfield, well worth a visit too.
Very good food. The ambiance is still one of the main attractions and the pub has several conversational attributes.
Can be quite romantic there, good place to go to impress on a first date.
Trust me!

Nice, but stupendously expensive. Need to look at their pricing structure. Somewhere to go to impress your mistress... i guess, I don't have one!,

Having read about this pub and hearing about it by word of mouth we decided to visit it.WHAT A FABULOUS PLACE! Discreetly hidden off the main road at Stadhampton, upon entering we were politely greeted and ask if we would like to eat. We agreed too and were told that there would be a wait for a table. Whilst waiting we sat at the bar and were served with tip top polite and very courteous staff. The wine list was very extensive and one of the bar staff guided us through some of the wines that we were'nt familiar with. The staff certainly knew what they were talking about, their expertise with the drinks & food menu was exemplary. FABULOUS MEAL,GREAT ATMOSPHERE, GREAT PUB. I only wish that we had a proper pub like this in Wendover where I live.

This is my favourite pub of ALL. Where do I start..........Excellent choice of well kept beers, wine list fit for a king,a list of rare malts as long as my arm, rare and hard to find exoctic spirits and cocktails, extensive menu serving good quality well presented food, great atmosphere, good music without being intrusive.Good service from very well trained staff. Spotless toilets. Lovely gardens with water features. Being a freehouse it's not tied to any stupid policies or regulated beer etc. Five star accomodation is provided with various "themed" rooms but at a five star price.A well run, well looked after pub. Once you visit it, you'll be back.

If you want to go for a quality meal and some fine wine, then you won't find anywhere better in oxfordshire. Well worth the money.

Cracking place. A really really great pub/bar where new and chic meets old in a collision that works so well and it has a brilliant atmosphere. Great choice of lagers and beers, both bottled and draught. They are reputed to have Champagne on tap although I never saw this. Not the most spacious of bars due to a lot of room being taken up by tables for evening bar meals. They have two restaurants there with a gastro pub type menu in one and a Thai menu in the other. I opted for the former and it was good. They have a good slection of stoggies for post dinner, which are kept perfectly.

If 350 for a night you can afford, stay in the Copper suit.... your missus will love it, I guarantee it.
