What a disappointment! Have had some lovely meals here in the past but today's was definitely sub-Wetherspoons, at twice the price. The menu looks like a pubco chain menu. Beer is well kept, but it's a Wadworth's tied house so choice is limited. Won't be going back until I hear it's changed hands again.

Had a couple of meals there recently. Beer well presented if a bit pricey. Food excellent apart from very poor quality chips.
Did not like the waste of gas heating the outside, very ungreen! For that reason I have not given as high a rating as I might have.

Stayed here with the family for 3 days in our touring caravan. the food was absolutely brilliant, granted the beer is a little pricey but the wine seemed very reasonable by the bottle. all the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. the manager is a very funny polite scouser with a brilliant sense of humour. the campsite has brilliant clean facilities. the pub is very much food orientated but as drinkers we were also made to feel very welcome. a lot of the locals seem friendly and this is an all round brilliant pub, would definately recommend this to anyone|!!!

Called in on our way back from Ledbury for a drink and to consider eating and were met at the door by a young man saying Are you eating here. That was a black mark as I don't like being approached in this way on entry to a pub. Although all the tables were not set for dining, most were. We got our Wadworth ales and a menu and the choice was good so we decided to eat there, even if a bit pricey. The meals were first class, the best we had while in the area I would say, and when I asked for gravy - I do like a lot, thgey brought a jug out for me. Portions good too. All young men working there, and seemed popular. Need to take away the over zealous welcome mat to be first class.

still run a little like the old couple but without the big piece behind the bar. Alot of good old friends from the farmers arms there i saw. Nice meal when i went which is what let this place down before

New owners/tenants in recently so hopefully old ratings should be ignored if they're any good!!!

Average food, average beer, average pub. Not too welcoming. More of an eating house really.
