Came down to London wth the girls. Dont really know the hot spots but found this funky bar by mistake. Awesome cocktails and very cheap at only 6 considering the location. Proceeded to find a cosy corner downstairs where the vibe was just right to get into the London party. You'll def see us back there the next time we down in London

I went by over the christmas period after hearing that the place had changed hands. It deffinatly has changed; I really like the graffiti. Was meeting some friends after work for a drink and something to eat.
Drinks were reasonably priced and really nice to have the option of draft, maybe next time. The chicken sandwich was also pretty good. Music wasn't too loud and the place wasn't packed wish was nice so you could chat, but did start getting busy later on. Will go back!

I've only ever been here at lunchtime. If you get the south american-looking bloke cooking, he makes a fabulous steak fahita. It's a bit quiet at lunchtimes, though - but I don't mind that.

Nothing special at all. Far better bars in Soho.

Really very tatty. If they want to justify charging the high London prices then an urgent refurb is required!!

It's a great place to sneer and be sneered at. Grab yourself a sneeringly expensive drink served by a sneering member of staff, and sneer away at girls who won't even lower themselves to sneer at you, and get sneered at be men who couldn't exist outside of this square mile of London.

a really disappointing night out. this bar has seen better days and doesn't warrant being regarded as a cool soho venue. tired interior, rude management - too many better bars in the vacinity to waste money at this one...

I re-thought the phonetic alphabet drining here!

Absolutey Barbaric Costs Drinking 'Ere, Forget Going Here, Inside, Just Keep Looking, Meandering, Nearest Other Pub! Queue Resembles Somewhere Trendier, Unless Very Wasted, 'Xercise Yourself Zzzz's....

Allowing for the fact that it's a 'trendy' bar and not a pub, this place is not nearly as bad as one might expect, especially earlier in the week when it's a nice place to chill out. I can remember it when it first opened and amazingly enough it hasn't declined too much. Good vodka & orange with really freshly squeezed juice. More laid-back than the Sun & 13 c*ntons, even though that place pretends to be a pub.
If the previous reviewer thought the Alphabet was so awful then they should try some of the other 'bars' in the area. Or perhaps not.

Not bad for drinks here, but the food is absolutely rancid! Could definitely do a lot worse than spending a night in here.

Tad pricey, but you get what you pay for. Cracking cocktails in a chilled atmosphere.

Chic and shack is the right description but still essily the best bar in soho, popped in on a wednesday night, but seemed more like a friday, stayed all night. Good cocktails and at last, friendly staff.

This Soho favourite is a blend of chic and shack, featuring the Soho street floor plan and skip-rescued furniture! After all the years we've spent propping it up, it's still one of our favourite bars anywhere!
