Been in here a number of times and it's pleasant enough without being memorable.
Has a pool table and darts board and a fairly limited selection of beers. The lady behind the bar was pleasant and chatty as was the one other person in there on my last visit (and his dog).

I walked into here and was greeted by the very friendly landlady just as one of the locals selected Mull of Kintyre on the jukebox. I thought that I had stepped back in time, especially after spotting the old ‘Open all Hours’ type tills behind the bar. There is a pool table and a dartboard in this long thin bar, not that anyone was playing. The toilets could do with a bit of a scrub as I was very glad to exit them after having a very quick leak.
There are four old hand pumps in this pub, one of which was displaying a clip for Toby cask, but alas they do not sell any real ale. I’m not sure what the clip is there for, but there is a standard draught selection and my pint of Guinness was spot on.
This is a decent enough pub if you like your old Irish boozers, which I do so I would go back again if passing.

A lovely place, very quiet, ornate old style pub... but no hand pumps sadly. Friendly landlady. Worth a visit to keep these places alive. I'll rate it 7 out of ten even though it has no ale.

The little engine that could. This place is humble. It has a dart board, a jukebox, a tv that has all of the terrestrial channels and a pool table. However, sometimes when you put your money into the pool table not all of the balls come out but Mary will gladly produce an ash tray full of an array of different coloured balls for you to choose your replacement from. Mary is a lovely lady. One night I was in there coughing my guts up and she came out from behind the bar and gave me some cough medicine and a pat on the back. If you fancy a drink somewhere in Camden Town and you don't want to bump into any pretentious wankers, go to The Golden Lion.

I'm pretty sure this is the pub on the corner of Pratt and Plender, although the map as it a few minutes walk away. It's one of those inner London locals with little in the way of redeeming features. The pool table is tiny and seems to be monopolised by 10-year olds. It has an air of loneliness. It sounds very patronising, but you come out feeling sorry for the place.

We went in here as part of a review of most of Camden's pubs, at lunchtime. Its way off the beaten track of the norm for Camden, but is a lovely little boozer, but no real ale. Guinness was fine at £2.50, but highlights had to be Ham & Salad rolls at 60p with unlimited pickle, good pool table and jukebox. Friendly barstaff/landlady. Apparently there's a dartboard in there too.
