Stonking little back street local.

Well worth seeking out.

Worth seeking out, prob second best pub in town after the Barrels.

Excellent little local in a sidestreet 5 minutes walk from the station. Knowledgeable and friendly local licensee who keeps his ale in very good condition and also dispenses useful advice as to where else in the area to get a pint of the good stuff. He is planning to host the pub's first beer festival later in the year. I'll be back next time I'm in Berwick.

Cosy little pub that thankfully modern renovation has by-passed. Beer is always excellent here and staff friendly. Good place to calm down and re-establish that life is worth living, particularly after a visit to The Leaping Salmon!*!

Friendly pub visited recently on holiday, 2 beers on when I was there, Deuchars and I had the Cairngorm Trade Winds which was decent.

Great little pub situated in the Greens, which is almost like a little village within Berwick itself.
Spadge (the landlord) knows how to keep a good drop of real ale and how to run a happy bar. What more do you want?

This was our first stop during a visit to Berwick a few weeks ago. It's a short walk from the station down a side street, surrounded by houses. Looks like it probably has a reasonable local trade. Five ales on offer for our visit and the EPA was in fine form. The staff were friendly and accommodating, as were the locals. Later found out that the pub does accommodation with a 10% discount for fans visiting Berwick's Sheilfield Park. Certainly worth a visit if you're in the area or have an hour or so to kill waiting for a train.

Very friendly and full of character- bric-a-brac and foreign notes adorn the bar, never fails to pique my interest. Listening to the locals, you wouldn't think you were in England. Interesting multi-roomed layout and a good selection of beers too, only 3-4 minutes walk from station. If you only have one pint in Berwick, try to make it in here.

Full of character. Decor reflects the close association of Berwick with the sea. Mirrors the unique English/Scottish atomesphere in Berwick. Although in England, you will probably get Scottish money in your change.
