Juzza has its issues!
This is a very mediocre pub that has the papers and is near a bookies.
Otherwise its just about ok for a quick pint - pub opposite, boarded shut.
This will be soon, again.

Its a little like that bar in Star Wars I'm not saying any more than that

Turned up 9.30 pm Easter Sunday and immediately liked the place even if the Duke box was playing Country Music, lol music changed after. Seemed a nice local and will come back

Terrible pub. My girlfriend and I went in there and it was full of people swearing and being agressive. We left just as a fight started. Don't bother going there

Has reopened as a free house selling Harveys Best and (an excellent) Harveys Old on my visit.

The pub has been refurbished and well laid out. It was showing rugby on Sky Sports while I was there although I would have preferred the volume to be turned down somewhat.

This pub has been open for a couple of months now apparently. Went in there the other night. It's been refurbished really nicely. Clean pub, friendly staff and a great beer garden.

This pub appears to be re-opening. Does anybody have any news on that?
totpotter1 - 25 Jul 2009 10:44
Harvey's say the pub is "awaiting disposal".

For a normally progressive, responsible company Harvey's prolonged closure of a potentially excellent pub is nothing short of scandalous. Either find an enterprising tenant or sell it as a free house. Make your minds up Harveys!

Pub has been closed for months...

According to Harvey's website, this pub is closed indefinitely.

Christmas Ale very good during December.

Against my better judgement, but feeling thirsty, I called again to sample Harvey's Bonfire Boy. This time it tasted almost perfect. Two families were turned away on a Saturday lunchtime as they were not doing food. Fortunately this time next year there will be no smoking in this pub or any other.

There is a notice on the wall saying "Badly behaved children will be asked to take their parents to another pub" or words to that effect. Nice idea!! Not however one of Harvey's best pubs, but far from the worst either. The Old Ale was good, although I have tasted it better. The young barman was friendly (and not smoking!) and the place seemed welcoming enough. Tunbridge Wells is not blessed with too many good pubs, but this one is better than most.

Full of stinking smoke as usual with bar staff smoking at bar. Harvey's seasonal beer 'Bonfire Boy' OK but not quite up to scratch - slow turnover?

Really are you sure about this one !!!!

Came here out of desperation really as it was the only pub in T.W. showing the Chelsea game. Glad I did!Small and so a tad crowded this was nevertheless a pleasant little pub with good Sussex ales and (at the time) a skull splitting Christmas ale which I didn't have the guts to try. Don't be put off by the regulars, they get friendlier as the evening goes on and the staff are very welcoming.
