This is not a pub in the trditional sense but is a very popular bar with the chinless wonders who inhabit Fulham. Expensive and charmless, like the punters.

This place is amazing!! Great music, perfect for any party, drinks flow really nicely! It's a bit more pricey but it's worth it. There's a new menu that they have on the BBQ all the time. It's fantastic! The garden is the best place in Fulham but not that many people know about it! Well worth checking out!!

looks good from the outside although its alot smaller than it looks, those mirrors on the back wall are decieving and make the place look twice as full. customers looked like your typical wanna be posh people. other than that was a good night music was ok and not to loud for the time. the most annoying thing for me was that there was only one guy on the bar serving [slowly] who didnt speak the best english while the female manager on duty was cutting lemons??? lemons can wait

think 3.20 for strongbow is a bit extreme....beer garden is good on a sunny day...was in there for a couple of hours yesterday....ok but would not stay all night as a bit poncy

This bar has been around for a while now and is in need of refurb. May be you don't notice it when its heaving, but if you go in when its quiet you realise how shabby its become. In terms of clientele, its just the usual Fulham crowd; bar staff are adequate; focus is on bottled beer, cold largers, "cocktails" (cocktails should not be served by the jug) and shots.
There's a large outside area which is always worth remembering on a sunny day.

Very pretentious and flash with cash as a lot of the broadway is. Ok not on a Friday or Saturday.

True meat market in the best Fulham tradition. Not just sleazy guys but plenty of girls as well.
Packed on Friday and Saturdays and a bit pricey.

Hadn't been here in a while, still as good as I remember it. As for the sleaziness, you get it everywhere in Fullham.

tried to be too trendy and ends up being a wannabe place with loads of sleazy blokes. Only saving grace is at least the sleazy blokes buy drinks cos the prices r stoopid, even for fulham!

I loved it and I miss it since I moved away from Fulham!!!

Tried this place last Friday, after being told by a rather Drunk friend that was called the "Whelk" Bar or the "Bark" bar!!

Wrong names aside, it was actually quite pleasant. Beer was reasonable - and the bar staff seemed to know what they were doing. Even down to different types of Vodka (Stolly or Finnladia)!

Bar was busy - but then this is no surprise given the location and that fact it was a Friday.

Only negatives i can think of are; Being given my change on those awful silver trays. And the Gents toilets - christ it was almost a water park in there.

So a big fat 8 for this bar of a funny name!

Been here one recent Friday night. fairly busy, lots of Aussies & some S.A's, pleasant enough, music ok.. bit of a mixture from 70's disco/soul to todays RnB.. Many ppl piShed by 8.30pm.. bit unfortunate it doesn't stay open past 11:30.

Very cool laid back pub. the music is different every time i go and even though the drinks are a bit pricey...the lounges and the eye candy make up for it!!
