The Lamb And Star Has Been Closed But It Has Been Re-Opened As The Ewe Bar Diner With A Brand New Mangament , New Team And A New Focus.. Ive Been In There Alot Since It Has Been Opened And Everytime Ive Been In Ive Had A Lovely Welcome And The Food Is VERY Good. The Prices Are Brilliant. Its Such A Lovely Chilled Place To Go With Friends. No Pressure At All

This pub is now opened as Ewe Bar & Diner, its a great pub, friendly staff, great landlord who is welcoming and friendly. Lovely food by a great chef who takes pride in his cooking from scratch. Well worth a visit with friends and family or even on like i did on my own and made to feel really welcome.

The lamb was never much of a pub but now it's a gastro-pub without the gastronomy. Pretty staff and a nice slate floor. Space-age lager dispensers and not much beer.

Reopened, lots of taps and pretty barstaff but no ale on tap! They are also going to close in October to refurbish the outside.

Had a good evening, although the tables could have done with a wipe over. It was very busy, but drinks were served efficiently. I think the packed pub was probably due to the excellent group playing live music. Think they were called 'Reflect'.We would certainly go back again - especially if the same band were playing again. Great atmosphere.

Pub is under new management and what a difference. Lovely beer garden, free high quality bar snacks and a great friendly atmosphere. The bar staff and landlady really make you feel welcome and I would have no hesitation in recommending this pub to all age groups.

Went there a few weeks back - asked the landlady if she had Pino Grigio. She said "Is that a wine?". Nuff said. The pub is a bit rougher than when I used to go there regularly a few years back, which is a shame because it has potential.

New Landlady is trying to drag the pub back out of the gutter. Still a lot of under age drinkers!
Still with a bit of a paint job and stricter rules on under age drinkers it could become a nice pub!
