"No atmosphere"..Ah yes, in other words no Carling-ed up losers missing high-fives with each other whilst hollering 'Wonderwall' hopelessly-off-key. A real loss eh?

To those of us who understand what pubs SHOULD be about, this place ticks many a top-notch box. Takes a bit of finding (like the best ones always do), a more than fair pint selection, and food more than acceptable for that of the pub variety. With two channels of sport being shown at any one time, you have it all here. Oh sorry, no aimless hollering of "OI-OI!!" Such a loss eh..?

A good pint of Star, but pricey at £3.40!! Agree with other comment about lack of atmosphere. Seems to be just somewhere people pop into randomly rather than return to. Lots of outside benches. Hand dryer sounds like its about to die.

OK, but nothing special, and just dull Greene King IPA on draught when I visited...

Bland, boring and tends to get a lot of wanker business-farts from the offices opposite.

Beer was more than drinkable but all a bit ho hum and if the barmaid had smiled her face would have cracked in half. Must be dozens of better pubs in Borough alone.

I quite agree with the previous comment, it's a nice enough place but there is absolutely no atmosphere and it was so quiet when we visited that we felt a little uncomfortable and left after one pint. Up the road to the George for a quality pint, plenty of people and a truly stunning place to look at.

Having read the previous reviews I was a bit disappointed when I finally got round to visiting this place recently. The seats are unusual but they are also uncomfortable. Beer was also a disappointment as the Tim Taylors Landlord was off leaving only grotty old Greene King IPA. Place was very quiet also so there was a distinct lack of atmosphere.

Late licence place usually. Risk of death or disease is significantly less than the alternative, Belushi's

The bright blue frontage immediately catches the eye of this pub come bar come indian restaurant. The Spice Lounge upstairs does the Indian food but manages to avoid stinking out the main bar downstairs. Not being an Indian food eater I cannot comment on prices / quality of the food but other sites suggest that it is quite cheap and quite edible. The main drinking area on the ground floor is geared to being more of a trendy bar with stacks of wine bottles and spirits etc but the traditional pub fanatic should not be put off - there are 2 Real Ales that tasted fine and the atmosphere quite comfortable and not too clubby. Note the unusual wooden seats. 1 small TV. Unobtrusive music. Friendly staff. One of the better bars of it’s kind and well worth a visit if in the area or part of a crawl.

Nice pub with friendly bar staff and good (indian) food. Easy to get served although always empty on weekdays.

A bright, cheery, chick-friendly pub, like an "It's A Scream" but for grown-ups.
