The bouncers are really nasty there I felt really unsafe they where rude and full of themselves there was one bouncer a WOMAN who walked around the place like she owned it. I felt embarrassed for her! I couldn’t believe it they where on there phones and joking around with each other. Their whole security and bar team are awful. When you finally get a drink it’s a reasonable price the club is over filled and more and more people are let in its an unacceptable place to be and I strongly wouldn’t recommend it.

Last time I went there the bouncers were really nasty to me and wouldnt let me in and were gonna call the police, insisting my ID was fake. I sed call the police then cos im no criminal! (on the nite bus home spoke to a woman who was 27 who didnt egt let in!)They also sed they were gonna make sure I didn't get in anywhere else that nite, well thats put me off ever going there again.

the dress code is far to strict. you cant get to the bar most of the time and when you do you need to be getting about 4 drinks for yourself at a time. wouldnt go there again on the weekend. waste of time!!

Always a good atmosphere. Friendly, welcoming doorstaff and the bar staff are always smiling. The prices are reasonable. The music is always good, especially on a sunday when DJ Scott Angry Anderson is on the decks. It does get very busy though.

OK if ur a wannabe middle class kind of guy, Edwards is the place for you. Its a 'look at me' kind of place... Look how much money im pretending to have!! lol
Music is alright though, scott anderson is there at the minute. who can atually DJ.. so thats good.
Upstairs is a little less busy, downstairs is just a joke most of the time. drinks prices are average.

pretty crap really. unless you want a fight, which you'll always get on the weekend ... if you really have to, go ij the week when it's quiet and laugh at the beckham wannabees drinking cheap champagne!

dont bother going in edwards on a friday or saturdday night.
Wont even be able to get near the bar upstairs or downstairs because there is too many people let alone get a foot in the door.
Strict dress code.
no footie clothes so dont go there to watch football, not as if its shown in there much any way!!

Nice girls but you wont pull in edwards

this is a pretty decent venue, although im pretty bored of it these days having been countless times, so havent been for about 6 months.
its an ok place where u tend to get mostly the 'pretty boy & girl crews' hanging out as its on the cooler end of the specrum within romford.
expect to queue at the weekends, and expect to have to spend 15 minutes to walk 20 feet due to it being so packed all the time. dnt worry about previous comments about the booth seats - unless u go during the day, or get there bang on when it opens in the evening - u wont get one!
drinks are pretty expensive as well... think it was about £3+ for a bottle of lager last time i went.
overall its a good place, bit too busy and at times a few idiots in there as well. but excellent music and generally a good atmosphere to start a night.

One of my past favourites thanks to its two levels, wicked tunes, seating booths, dancefloor and balcony overlooking the dancefloor (which is ideal if fights and/or cleavage are a personal source of entertainment). I've spent a couple of Christmas Eves in here and have got obscenely drunk there many a time. Unfortunately, this also means I don't remember much about it; it's not the kind of place you go for a 'quiet drink' and if you're in there during the day you're missing the point.
If you're local, there's invariably someone in here you're trying to avoid because it can hold so many people. Thankfully it's easy to escape to one of the secluded booths if you get spotted. You'll often find yourself having to queue to get in on a weekend and, being in England, usually in the rain. Also, if you find yourself parked any less than five metres away from one of the monstrous speakers, you'll come out with a raw throat from shouting at your mates, and ringing ears cos it's so loud. But fair play - you can't play good tunes quietly.
All in all not much bad can be said about Edwards if you're out for a good night. But if you walk in and notice all the blokes have got the same haircut, you're too old. Nothing special, but better than average.
