Seems closed to me. On a sunny day like today, the garden was empty and the only vehicles in the car park were builder's lorries.

Thjis is one friendly pub! Alan the Landlord is really great and a real supporter of LIVE music. Try attending the Jam evening on wednesday evening 9pm. There's a large marquee-type space outside for those who smoke, at the back is a large newish bar for functions.

Listen up! This pub HAS NOT closed despite recent local press stories! Anyone who used to visit on a Friday night for the EXCELLENT live music can carry on doing so.......all the usual activities are continuing as well - karaoke, jam night, poker club etc.
Brilliant 7 piece soul band 'Power of Soul' due to play on Friday, 28th November 2008, from 9.30pm. 5 entry includes FREE first drink & raffle entry.
This pub is as good as it ever was!

Great pub, great people, great time. A fantastic night every time we visit. Karaoke is amazing, everyone just there for a laugh. A+++++++++++

The only time I went to this pub I was involved in a fight trying to protect some poor soul. Not sure what he did to the locals but they were not happy!

Best pub in the area for entertainment & very well run. The karaoke on Tues & Sat is very professionally done by Natalie & mostly of quite a high standard. Brilliant rock bands on Friday night, lots of ex-pros or ex semi-pros playing, eg John Verity Band, Power of Soul etc at no extra charge. Most bands play about every two months or so, Cane Toads are particularly popular. Great, free music. Still two small cosy bars if you just want a quiet drink or to watch sport on tv. BBQ food outside in summer with covered marquee & garden. NOW doing breakfasts (with free coffee top ups!)from 7.30am until 12.30pm (at time of writing but call to check).

This is a great little drinking den - have an excellent hall for live music bands - an decent beer garden - and the staff are all family - never any trouble here. - and decent array of fine ale and larger...

I've said it on other sites (Disgraceful. Ed.) but I'll say it here too - this is one of the friendly local pubs you will ever find. Alan is a great landlord and it's a bit of a family business - Natalie the daughter helps run the entertainment and son David is frequently behind/in the bar. Worth mentioning that there's now a large heated marquee-type thing outside ready for those who don't manage to quit smoking before July!

I went here one Wednesday to watch/listen to the musicians play. It was a lot of fun, a real gem to find.

Popped into this pub on the way home from work one Friday in September. There was live music on, which I believe they have every Friday night. The band that was on when I was there wast called The Eastcote Fliers and they were superb - really entertaining. The place was packed and the atmosphere was terrific. I'll being going back there again for sure.

This pub is terrific I love "Georges bar" at the back which is dedicated to music with some thing on every night of the week, karaoke is on Tuesdays and Saturdays and well run by Nattalie who is the daughter of the talented musician and singer Alan the landlord.
This bar is air conditioned and sells london pride on the hand pump.

I played a gig here last week and although it was quiet, it was a great night and this is honestly a top boozer (no, Alan is not paying me!!!) - small stage is perfect for us (Donut, duo for all occasions - could not help the plug) - and Alan is very supportive of the music here. Bit of a seasoned pro himself, he really takes an interest in what you do. Good beer, warm welcome, live music. SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC!!! Too many pubs don't go with it and they SHOULD!

Worth a visit for the music room alone.

Excellent music bar that was added a year or so back - musical instruments on the wall and excellent PA set up. Now having live music on Thursdays as well, this is a top place to gig and there is enough seats for approximately 50 people - this is one cool bar. If you gig in this area then ring alan and get in here. Alan also records some gigs and takes pics which run on a tv over the bar telling of the entertainment to come.

Great boozer.

This listed building was extended in April, 2005, with the addition of 'George's Bar', which more than doubled the size of the original pub. The new bar makes The Woodman the best live music venue in the area, with top quality bands every Friday (no door charge or collection) and jam sessions on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. There is something on every night of the week except Thursdays.

Really quaint here, with real ale and a honey-smooth pint of Guinness. It's two bars really, one being solely for darts, and a bigger area which has entertainment and seating.

Alan (the landlord) usually provides the evening's entertainment and it's always a corker! The regulars seemed friendly and polite. I don't live in the area so it's difficult for me to frequent this pub often, but whenever I'm in the area I'll pop by.

Small locals pub with live music most evenings (landlord does it himself if no one else is available). Darts is still a big thing here.
