lovely place to eat and drink have been sevral times. The staff are a great bunch of people. I have to say I do agree with the comment below newest female member of management has been very rude

A passable lunch served in a friendly manner. Coffee freshly brewed; good 'n hot!
Guinness, standard warm variety, quite drinkable! Lunch time bargains - if ordered at lunctime substantial discounts.

It's a beefeater! Seems better than the Hare and Hounds, service very friendly.

...a fancy and modern pub with nachos and gustbusting big boy specials--for a price. it is not the pub it used to be, leaving the traditional behind and changing with the times. nevertheless, like the "hare and hounds" that also remains in godstone, it is nice to see that at least the names have not changed.

Their code number is 01883 not 10882. At present they are doing a £7.99 3 course and it's a great selection.
