please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I visited today. Local fuckwits rated me and my mother as we entered as unacceptable. We left, having indicated our opinion of them. Don't allow Neanderthals as customers. They were fucking unacceptable; not us. I will never visit again; neither will anyone who I know. What a bunch of fucking bastards. Get a grip; make your customers behave. The alternative pub we visited; the young man held the door open for us. Just a pub full of fuckwits.

Well, I was a bit concerned about going in after the last 2 reviews but, I was glad I did. Moles Elmos, Flowers IPA and Ginger Tom on offer at 3.20 a pint. Quality was fine.

Music a bit loud for my taste and lots of TV screens around. Probably not a place to go on Friday or Saturday evenings but I was quie happy.

Very handy for the bus stop.

The drug squad raided this pub on Saturday and not before time. Coke has been the big seller in this place for ages (not the liquid stuff).

I popped in here while on a mini pub crawl of Tilehurst and to be honest I wish I hadn't bothered. I ordered a half of "real ale" and was given a glas full of sludge. It was changed for Hobgoblin but I really didn't feel comfortable in here so drunk up quickly and got the bus back into Reading. Shame - it should be a good boozer given its prime position in the village.

A good old fashioned working mans boozer.Family friendly. Landlord & Landlady & their bar staff very welcoming. Live music most weekends. & a nice pint of Hob Goblin for 3 what more could you want?

Good friendly, traditional boozer. Nice pint of Broadside.

Pub is full of regulars. They may look a little rough but are quite friendly. The Broadside wasn't bad. The place has got a certain charm.

Grubby basic boozer with pointlessly loud music and glaring locals, still smells of old cigarettes post-ban. Nice.

Served an OK pint of Pride but I doubt I'll be making much of a beeline back unless they make more of an effort.

new landlord, sky back on. regulars are a laugh if you make the effort to talk. Good for a drink after work. Working mans pub so just expect good cheer nothing else.

Dreadful. What has happened to all the pubs in Tilehurst

nice building but the crowd can vary

A nice enough pint of beer, but the pub has little else to commend it. They call their toilets the "Rest Rooms". I ask you!

the brewery has ruined this pub no sky no entertainment and no more regulars......very sad...
