We visit this one on the way to WHL from Seven Sisters, mainly out of convenience, always seemed to have loads of potential but a bit shabby. However new management have slowly but surely turned it around - the garden area has brand new decking and the smaller side of the pub is re-opened and is spot on (if a bit modern looking) and they are now working on the bigger other side. When finished it will be a cracking boozer..deffo give it a shot!! Lovely staff - remember us even though we're only there every few months.

probably the easiest pub to get a pint in on matchday 6/10

Nightmare to get served and the bar staff are surly and ignorant. Yes it's busy on a match day but the sour faced barmaids are useless and just serve whoever they see next.

There were two handpumps on the bar, but neither were in use. Plus the Stella, Fosters and Carlsberg lagers were all off, leaving only John Smith’s Smoothflow and Carling on offer. Not good. Although this pub is on the CAMRA inventory of London pubs with historic interiors, my stay in the Saloon Bar did not give me the impression that there was anything special about the pub. It had a dirty, uncared for look about it. The carpet was filthy and didn’t look as if it had been vacuumed any time recently. Most of the stools appeared to have been inexpertly recovered with some whitish fabric. All in all it looked very tatty, but also lacking any of the character that a pub can still retain without having had a flash makeover. I can’t see any reason to return.

Went there are last Saturdays match, disappointed. No real ale, no Stella and no TV's.

Was in here with mates on Saturday night after the last home game against Man City. This was my 1st visit and I was very impressed. Full of top class Spurs fans and a real football feel about the place. Karaoke was 1st class with plenty of Spurs songs and a group of people who were all happy to get involved creating a great atmosphere and this wasn't just for Spurs songs!!! Cheers to the DJ for singing 2 Little Boys, this is my favourite song being a Hartlepool United fan.
Will definately visit again and had a much better time than before the game in the Bill Nic.
Cheers to the staff, DJ and other fans for a great night.

Popped in here for the first time for just a couple of drinks earlier this week and was pleased that I did. My friends and I sat in the rear bar which was remarkably spacious and enjoyed a pleasant drink at an affordale price. Despite the scale of the place, it seemed to still have a very cosy atmosphere which gives you the best of both worlds. Bar staff were quick, polite and apologetic if they couldn't fulfill your requests. Plasma TVs were used as nature intended as a background feature rather than dominating the pub with loud volume and the jukebox similarly served more as ambient noise rather than conversation killing din. Worth a visit as it's a nice building, tucked away down a quite sidestreet that seems a million miles away from the busy and loud section of Tottenham High Road near Bruce Grove station despite being only a few yards away from it in reality. I visited in the late afternoon when the place was faily sparsely populated, but the clientele seemed like a friendly enough bunch. Definitley worth another visit and if you find yourself near-by, why not pop in and check it out - I think you might like it.

Have been in this pub a couple of times now and LOVE IT! Nice big beer garden for the smokers, they even have brollies for the rainy season! Staff were friendly and remembered the round, there were only two of us but still impressed. BBQ on sundays sounded lovely but we didn't get there for it...

I was in this Pub a few days ago Its a very nice old style traditional Pub I have been going in here occasionally since the late seventy's since when I was living in Scales Road just round the corner. The thing I like about this Pub is it has not changed too much and is still a very welcoming Pub serving decent Real Ales. This is a Pub I would recommend to anyone providing its NOT a match day otherwise it can get too full and uncomfortable.

Still no glasses on match days.

Serves pies lunchtimes on matchdays. Fills up with Spurs supporters. Good humoured. Good choice for pre-match lubrication. Recommended.

On the face of it, finding a pub of architectural interest in an area like Tottenham is a tall order and yet the Beehive has received special recognition by CAMRA who have included it as part of their National Inventory scheme. Set back just off the High Street, this mock Tudor pub dates from 1927 but the interior has remained virtually intact since then and has several interesting features.
The carpeted saloon bar is a quite spacious L-shape, its size almost doubled thanks to an extension at the back of the pub that was originally the luncheon room. The glazed upper part of the dividing screen can still be seen. There are fake beams in the ceiling, fine examples of wood paneling and a brick fireplace with a splendid brass hood. The walls are adorned with plates, brasses and even a stuffed fox head. The aesthetics are partly detracted by the bar canopy that has been spoiled by a mass of blackboard surrounds. Of note are the coloured glass names on the doors and the numbered rooms, a throw back to when the use of each room had to be listed separately for licensing purposes. 3 large plasma screens and a few fruit machines represent some of the more the more modern features. Leading off the Saloon Bar is a Saloon Lounge which is not usually accessible but the last time I saw the door open it appeared to be used mainly as a separate darts room.
At the rear is a spacious beer garden with well worn grass, a few benches and, these days, several smokers.
On the other side of the pub is the much plainer and slightly tatty Public bar with a pool table and a couple of TVs. The brick fireplace is less ornate than its saloon bar companion but there are more fine dark paneled walls with interesting built in dartboard cabinets beneath the rather empty trophy cabinet. Behind the open L shaped bar is a glazed office and the front area that was originally an off licence, the name still marked out in coloured glass on the now unused exterior door.
Even on Spurs match days, you can generally get a seat in one of the bars. They offer 2 Real Ales (London Pride and Spitfire on my last visit) although you can usually count on one of them being unavailable and the other of variable quality.
This is certainly one of the better and more interesting of the pubs in the Tottenham area and on the whole you can expect a hassle free, friendly welcome.

Nice pub compared to the rest. Can be a bit dull though

Best pub in the area. Nice garden and my favourite for going in and meeting mates after Spurs. Staff really good and friendly too

A great and characterful pub, normally selling two well-kept real ales (London Pride and GK IPA or similar). Always friendly and worth a visit just to look at the historic features of this place.

Even though its a pub for Spurs supporters, it is very friendly but i would stay away when Spurs are playing at home as it gets very busy.
Bar staff are very friendly and the locals are pretty friendly as well.

Possibly my favorite pub to visit in Tottenham , shame it's not a tad nearer the ground
