Doesnt look much but worth seeking out.

Landlord very friendly, talking with strangers who are here for the airport.

The food is the selling point. Its mainly Thai and top quality and great value.

Stuck with San Miguel.

Visited a couple of weeks ago and will go again on the basis of the Thai food on offer. The menu looks somewhat dodgy complete with colour photos but the food was spicy and full of flavour. The beer was ok with a couple of ale choices but nothing amazing. The locals were entertaining and flattering which is always a winner!

Very friendly pub. Greene King IPA was good. Enjoyed the food as well.
Reasonably priced and huge portions.

Hopefully is safe from becoming the third runway.

Well worth a visit, especially if you are staying at one of the nearby hotels.

Potentially a very nice pub but, inspite of its obvious age, it, and the rest of Sipson, is earmarked for demolition to make way for more earth (and soul) destroying airport.

In recent months the place had gone downhill badly and was empty most days. Thankfully it has now been taken over by a bloke with years of experience in the trade and is improving rapidly, hopefully will be as good if not better than it was a few years ago, great location, great character building (16th century??)
Interesting clientelle if you are staying at one of the hotels nearby give it a try.

This Pub is haunted because my nan used to clean there and she was the only one there and she heard heavy footsteps on the second level. she checked for anyone else who was in the pub. there was nobody

Within walking distance of many of the Hotels dotted around Thiefrow. Decent beer and massive portions of food. Much better than The Plough down the road.
