Shows all the United games home and away which is decent, bit of a locals pub when the matches aren't on though and didn't feel completely at home.

Used to be a Fantastic Pub (One of the best in Sale) With a traditional Vault/ a lounge with pool table,tv's,Big Screens,Fruitys plus Jukebox with cracking tunes on it!
Started to drink in there on a regular basis back in the good old days of 1998-2001 when Debbie and Tez (the big fella) used to run it. (The days when that mad Irish barmaid-by the name of Michelle, used to work there!Staff were good (especially the young lad who were the glass collector at the time - he were a good laugh!) Was like a huge family in there. Every weekend was a laugh. Was the only pub not to have doorstaff (or trouble) on New Year 2000! What a night! A few of the 'Corrie' actors used to stop off in there from time to time. When Debbie and Tez left - the pub went right down hill. (The Glass Collector buggered off to 'Babalous!'coz of he couldn't stand the new landlords - which was a great loss!) Eventually all the other staff started to leave and were replaced by useless, boring and arogant staff (who were related to the new landlords)
Kids started getting served-and i'm sure there was a 'Kids/Homework club' going on in the lounge every weekend!
It went crap! Dunno what its like since it changed hands again?

Anyone used to drink in there during the reign of Debbie and Tez? Any good memories? I've got loads - some of my best were had in there!

Was 9/10
Turned 3.5/10
Now:?

(Will rate it 9 for the memories of my 3 years during '98-'01!)

Good for watching United away games on a Saturday afternoon. had my first rejection from a pub here when I was 16. Standard beers. Cheap grub. Good for the Metrolink pub crawl. See you tomorrow Chris!

The initiation pub for all "Saleites" who attain a near enough age for drinking.
Near the tram station so a handy meeting point, has always served an acceptable range of beers and occassionally food.
Great for sport due to the number of TVs/screens and within walking distance of Sale centre.
Used to suffer from its proximity to the local grammar school but they seem to have moved on to the Sale Hotel/Little B
Current landlord promotes the pub with a series of activities
