I was waiting for a train so I called in for a quick pint and grub as it's on the main street. I wouldnt recomend it, the food was expensive and by the time it arrived I had to rush it... No thanks

Great atmosphere...great bar. Drinks prices depend on who serves you...an advantage for a young girl like me, the male barmen happily lower the price of drinks for you after a bit of flirting. Measures also vary on who serves you....think some of them like to get you drunk! Thursday night...cheap nite! Friendly staff...good food...good music....good drinks. Overall excellent place!

Appalling - all the food here is microwaved and boil in the bag - typical chain pub - non descript food, staff and atmosphere. Crap.

This is my most fave place to be! the staff are great!! always up for a giggle, it's just pretentious customers they don't like!...who does? Yates is most prob my 2nd home...1st in fact! its not overpriced at all?.. and i enjoy the food, especially curly fries with chilly and cheese! There are a lot of customers all the time, i should know. And The music is fab, they put whatever you want on.
They have put a stop to the under agers now, the doorman are on the ball! well all in all....massivly marvellous.

This is the place to meet the overbeered lager brigade - ere we go. not for me but if you want to shout at the goalie in unison and spill out into the street looking cloned and bleery beery.

lunchtime visit - took ages to be served, not many customers or staff - 1st choice of food not available due to no salad dressing, this was after we had ordered and took our seats, no apologies from the staff member. Didn't wait too long for salads but when they came the lettace at the bottom of the dish was brown.
Pretty poor customer service and food standard was appalling for a �6 - will not be visiting again for food

this public house is appalling. few customers, rude staff, exceptionally unprofessional doormen, poor music, bad decor and high prices for badly kept lager.
