Still a Fullers pub, nothing special, tables all laid out for food, Fullers Hope & Glory 3.90!.

Used to be my local many years ago and was a busy thriving pub. Went in for a pint on a Saturday lunchtime and the place was less than half full. Beer was good and priced ok but I wonder why it has lost it's popularity.

Thought the beer was average and expensive

Food prices have been hiked up somewhat but still pretty good grub. Beer is good though mainly Fullers range. Beer festival is always a good one and is all weekend this year :o)

Nice old style country pub. Good real ales, food Ok as well. Highlight is the Annual beer and music Festival. This year 14th -16th July. Bands on all three days this year

Recently changed hands and is now owned by Fullers. Still has a good selection of guest beers but the prices have gone up, most beers now costing 2.20 upwards. They run a beer festival each year though this years only lasted a 1 1/2 days used to be a 3 day event. Good luck to Dave on his retirement.

Steve, Geoff and Jim have found a good'en. Visited it the other day and enjoyed it tremendously. Good beer, decent price and a lovely atmosphere. If you're in the area, take the time to pop in, you won't regret it.

My all-time favourite pub. Beer is consistently superb and nicely priced. Food is wonderful. A great pub all year round but do go there in the summer as there is a very large outdoor drinking and eating area, including a field (!) behind all that. The best time of all to visit the Fair is in the middle of July when the pub has a three-day festival with ales in a tented enclosure, hog roast and live bands. Not to be missed.

Fantastic booze. Didn't have enough time to sample the entire collection (on tap that is)

A lovely family run pub that serves superb meals and have a excellent range of real ales.No loud music, no pool table and no intrusive tv.
