Give it another try and found it pretty similar. It has it's clientele and there isn't room for anyone else.
Went up to the Corner tap another micropub at the other end of the street near the station and found it far more friendly - also had a better ale selection.

It's okay - beer was good but a bit too 'local' for outsiders to feel welcome

Decent friendly micropub. Four ales available but range was a little disappointing as all were bitters in the 3.8-4.5% range with 3 from Kent micros. I tend to expect a little more from micropubs with a dark beer and something stronger available.

This was my second visit to this pub. I first came 18 months ago and the place had an "unfinished" look about it. Understandable as it had only been open a short while but It's still the same. Come on guys paint isn't that expensive. Not to detract from what is a very good pub. Knowledgeable and polite staff. They offer you a taster, you don't have to beg for it as in some pubs (and in many cases you are turned down). What I found strange was the bizarre "art" hanging on one wall. It looked like a car sprayer had had a very bad day indeed. There were little price tags ostentatiously hanging down (were they put there using a plumb line). I had a look and saw one was £1.50 so not too bad but no it was £150. Who are you kidding or is that what they pay you to take it away. In conclusion a very good pub and well worth a visit.

Still a work in progress but I find it very friendly and welcoming with an excellent choice of well kept ales and cider. Definitely one not to be missed.

Perfectly good micropub marred by lack of seating, with what there is hogged by locals who spread themselves out as much as they can creating an unwelcoming atmosphere.

Cracking pub. I must admit to being a big fan of the micropub concept and this is now my pub of choice. Beer is always in fine condition and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I have lived in Faversham for about 20 years and have sadly seen the closure of about 10 pubs in that time. I have recently heard that planning permission has been granted for another micropub. Great. I hope it's not the last.

When they say it a micro pub they are not kidding, a small bar at the back of the pub and a few tables and stools on either side of the room, did some cracking ale on our visit, sadly can't remember what, and also a good local cider.

Good enthusiastic staff who know what they are on about, only been open for a few month and i hope it is a success.

Faversham's first micro pub. Well worth a visit to try some great beers.
