Sadly had a very bad experience here. Slightly unfortunate situation in that friends and I sat for a few minutes and left without buying anything when we found they weren't serving food. However, landlord's response was completely unreasonable - there was no call for any unfriendliness, let alone the profane language he employed! There are many other good atmospheric pubs in the Mill Road area - I recommend any one of them over the Six Bells after my recent welcome there.

Great pub. I still like to go here when I am back in Cambridge. Has a juke box and pool table to keep you entertained :)

A really excellent little back street local, very friendly staff and clientele. Hidden gem to be honest, still seems to be hidden too judging by the comments here. Good beer and a nice atmosphere

I like this place. One of the barstaff tried to rip me off once but I caught him. I accept this as a one-off though, so still recommend it.

Nice pub serves good inexpensive food,friendly staff especially Sue (manageress) and Sophie quiznight monday good laugh.
