Quite nice, decent beer, friendly staff but somehow has the feeling of a private club rather than a pub, cliquey I would say. But a million miles from a Wetherspoons and that can't be a bad thing!

The 'Bowling Green' is leamington spa's oldest town hall. The are records of this pub trading in 1625. This makes its history very important. Not only in local history but also in UK history. It is in need of a refurb so still has its 70's decor. This does mean that it's got a lot of charm. If you are in the area please pop in. The Bowling Green, New Street Leamington Spa. Warwickshire.

nice pub, not a bar really. If a big glass window makes it a bar then fair enough. I didn't see any of these barmaids i've been told so much about either... nice pint and freindly people so i was happy.
