Now called the Hop and owned by Ossett Brewery it has quite a few ales on mostly from Ossett which are in good form, the food is quite nice as well. It's a big room of a pub so I guess if you don't want an atmosphere then you may not want to hang around. But it is certainly goid to have a few nice beers and if you want to eat.

Great building and a well furnished place. The bar offers a bit of everything for everyone, and as a result, everyone goes. Always have a few different ales on, and the quality of the beer is good but few working there can pull a decent pint which is a shame, however they are more than willing to top them up so can't really knock them.

I wish people wouldn't waste time and energy coming onto this site to complain about FOOD in an ALEHOUSE. Having said that, the TS is a bit food obsessed and now does bloody cocktails too for the tottering, orange - hued, bag hugging, wine swilling fair maidens of Shipley. And yet good beer still survives, so can't complain really

Great building, great beer, great atmosphere! Its worth a visit to the Shed alone even if its just to witness the wonderful interior and marvellous bar set up. The Copper Dragon was well kept and it was still busy even thought it was a week night! Cant comment on the food but what a fantastic venue even for just a pint! Well worth a trip!

Went in for late morning coffee with family. I thought the building and seating was nice. Large bar serving Saltaire - Blonde, Copper Dragon - Black Gold, Copper Dragon - Scotts 1816 and a couple of others. Beer quality not bad.

Following my previous comment, have spoken to the Manager and arrived at a mutually acceptable conclusion

Had Christmas dinner here, table booked for 2pm, sat down eventually at 2.45pm., food didn't arrive until 3.10pm The building was absolutely freezing, I ate my Christmas dinner in my coat! The starter was passable, the main was served as a carvery, the vegetables were undercooked ( brussel sprouts like bullets!), the turkey was dry, no mash potatoes, roast potatoes tasted as though they had been cooked in dirty fat. The whole main meal was luke warm! Moving on to the sweet, it was inedible- sticky toffee pudding that was like cardboard. At no time did any of the staff ask if the meal was ok, there was no Christmas music and very few decorations so consequently no atmosphere. As part of a party of 12 who paid 40 a head we left completely disappointed and disgusted, we had also spent a generous amount over the bar! Didn't complain at the time.. day already spoilt!!

Okay if you like loud music and cooking largers. Not so good if you're into a proper pub that serves real ale.
