Friendly pub with 2 real ales, very good for a bar next to the beach.

We popped into a couple of times in the afternoon while staying in Sandown. I do not think the low rating is justified. The bar staff were friendly, the food looked good and there are great views of the bay and the pier. Wine and Guinness were good as well.

Not sure why this place has got such a low score. We stayed in Sandown for a week and visited this most days. Friendly staff and it had nice views with outside seating. Was made to feel very welcome at the weekly quiz night as well. Food was also very tasty and well presented.

enjoyed this bar overlooking pier, brian, jan and staff were great.nice chilled, relaxing place.even found that a mississippi saxophone is a harmonica.

A restaurant which overlooks the pier. It is a wedge shaped lounge which is comfortable with leather seats. It has bare wooden floorboards which I don't really like. It had 1 real ale, Black Sheep Bitter. The lounge has good views and the food was reasonable.
