It's ok.
This is an eatery with a bar, not a pub.
Full of families with kids, so if you like a quiet pint then avoid.

Heard bad things about this place after it first opened. Highly impressed now having been here several times following the "gastropubification" of nearby Tudor Rose,

Inside is clean, warm and welcoming. With a full table service operating for those eating, all staff so far are friendly and helpful. Food is priced about right for the quality and portions.

This is more a restaurant than a pub, but for all that the beer is OK. Unfortunately however the food isn't. Cheap and nasty pretty much summed up my meal. Tasteless rotisserie chicken with a tiny amount of BBQ sauce attempting to bring it to life but failing, limp salad and cold chips. My partner had new potatoes and a couple of them weren't cooked properly and the vegetables were overcooked and soggy. People on the table behind us were complaining to staff about the quality of their food as well so it seemed to be normal on the night we were in. We already have the Fox for awful food so why the need for the Ladybird! I won't be returning.

I agree with the previous comment in that it is more of a restaurant than a pub, but saying that, the cask ales are kept in good condition. However I did eat and have a couple times before and have been disappointed. I ordered a burger which was meant to have CRISPY bacon mine had barely touched the grill and on a previous visit I ordered a pie which was meant to have seasonal STEAMED veg and new potatoes, when the meal arrived, the veg was mushy and the was six small new potatoes on the plate. To concur with this on my latest visit a fellow customer was also complaining about the veg on his plate. All in all nice ale substandard food for the price which is quite expensive compared to some other pubs in the area.

Large Marstons pub, mainly set up for families. Only been there once so far, but it seems to be more of a restaurant than a pub. The area probably needed that option, but I thought that the food portions were small, and quite expensive. I have heard other people being quite complimentary, so might give it another go when I'm passing. The Marstons Pedigree was fine by the way.

This is a new build pub on the old Caterham Barracks. It has 4 beers on pretty much all the time, some of which are changing guest beers. The food is also very good. A welcome change to some of the grot that is on the hill.
