Wow! This is the best that this place has ever been. It's always been a strange venue, Carl Cox & Seb Fontaine have both graced the decks here in the past, but it's never been a consistently busy bar despite being the only real decent music bar/club in Kingston (except bacchus, which can be a little too cramped with nowhere to sit.
The name Isha had given me the wrong image of this place, but a step inside will reveal an amazing makeover, it's proper nice in there now, clean and seductively lit, really stylish and funky, and very friendly staff & management.
I went on a Saturday night and it was packed - really good DJ's playing house, bits of old skool - it was totally going off in there! It seems that every Friday & Saturday they have different DJ's playing a range of decent house & electro music music across the board, nothing cheesy.
I've always said that Kingston could do well out of a decent little music bar, and thankfully it seems that Isha is now providing that.
Will definately be going there a lot more regular from now on.

This is now Isha. Fear not, previous lovers of Out of the Blue, this is still a very good place to visit - we even preferred it! Not cheap, but good beers (inc Weiss biers) and great cocktails. Bar staff are friendly and welcoming, the interior and furnishings stylishly subdued, atmosphere relaxing and, the various times we have been, the DJs spot on. Great for over 25s looking for a relaxed ambience in a more intimate surround, good music and service, and a little bit of something different to the other late night meat markets (not including the fabulous sweat pit of Bacchus)

went to a fantastic Sunday afternoon trance day there once called MUNTED was the best thing to happen to the place, great place, great staff, could do with a bit more upbeat music instead of all this funky blues stuff-- where is the TRANCE MUSIC KINGSTON NEEDS ?????

Absolutely fab bar, the staff are very proffessional and fun but most of all there is such a fun atmosphere, to sum it up its wicked man.x

they've had some great parties lately and word seems to be getting round. It offers something different to other places in Kingston and they aren't afraid to try new things and act on feedback.

For a small venue this bar has high standards across the board, polite bar and door staff and a very friendly atmosphere. Its well worth travelling to.

Great Venue with great music. Get down the 2nd Saturday of every month for Therapy (MOS, Pacha, The Cross)for some great house music and a wicked party atmosphere. Polite staff and a really up for it crowd. I would hardly call it boring 'bedroom' DJ music as one person has commented! - some of the DJs have residencies at The Cross and Ministry. See you down there on October 11th!

very busy, nice to see a venue without loads of kids running about, excellent line ups: THERAPY,BRANDON BLOCK & ABOVE AVERAGE LIVE ACTS. WEDNESDAY IS A MUST, LIVE CUBAN BAND "KICO". A VERY PLEASANT TIME HAD.

This pub is trying way to hard to appeal to everyone. They do food, 'trying' to do music- if you call a boring 'bedroom' DJ music, the staff are miserable AND I bought the same drink three times and got charged different prices every time. Something's not quite right there! They don't have normal lager on tap either just some organic excuse for beer. Tastes more like ear wax!

I remember going in here a couple of months ago for a mate's birthday - we were on a bit of a crawl. It was absoblutely empty, so the owner and the barmaid just started making us shooters and cocktails on the house. I think they were a bit bored.

I was appalled! The only reason I went here was because they were running one of those tacky promotions in the local paper.
Quite nice interior but crap service and silly food. Crocodile? Alligator? You know the type of thing...
trying too hard guys!
oh, and the exterior looked like it might be closing down any moment.
Prefered it when it was run by the previous people,
the blue room... I think?
