please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Had the misfortune to go there - what a sh*thole. As already noted by many others, overpriced beer (Red Stripe 4.20 a can) and stuck up bar staff. I've seen better maintained toilets in refugee camps. If its for you - fine, but I would rather poke my eyes out with rusty nails than go back there again.

Just spent NYE here and there was no count down..........that should sum it up!

There's not a lot to recommend this place to be honest. The staff are aloof and not at all talented in the art of customer service, the drinks are really expensive, the toilets are absolutely disgusting. Only shoreditch Sh**heads and tourists seem to bother really and that worries me, that overseas visitors might think that this is what the majority of Londoners do of an evening.

High quality for live music (although widely mixed in style, best to check the schedule first). But much more of a nightspot than a watering hole - drinks serve primarily as a pathway to drunkenness rather than any sort of gustatory pleasure. 5/10 for overall experience but markedly lower if you're considering the drinking experience alone.

A bit of a rip off joint, staff not the best

Agreed Tallman - great place. Sunday afternoon/early evening really kicks off. If you want a quiet pint of real ale then take your walking stick to another part of London, but if you want a lively, night out with good music, hot girls/guys + a late licence, then get yourself to 93 Feet East.

Calm down, people! It's not a place for sampling fine beers, it's a spot where people go on the pull and to get legless on a weekend. Don't think it ever has claimed to be a pub in the real sense of the word. Have some excellent new music playing live, DJs for people who like that kinda thing and plenty of outside seating.

Along with it's neighbours, Vibe Bar, Big Chill and Corbets Place the Old Truman Brewery complex boasts the most outside drinking seats in any one area that I can think off.

and there's not a lot to stop you from bringing your own!!

Where to begin? I've been drinking around London for over 20 years and have experienced the good the bad and the ugly but nothing prepared me for this. It took 20 minutes to be served. There were no real ales and only one of the draght lagers was available at 3.50 per pint. A colleague of mine ordered a glass of red wine and which tasted like rancid vinegar (what do you expect for a fiver) he was lucky - the white wine was even worse. And yet people (the young and the foolish) were flooding into this rip off joint. Whoever runs this place is obviously a genious - it must rate as the biggest scam in town. If you like having the piss taken out of you and your wallet, I thoroughly recommend that you drink here.

A bit of a sweatbox nightclub playing some of the weirdest music ive ever heard, all at several hundred beats per minute... Enjoyable when half cut, particularly the manga film showing on the big screen behind the dj. Rubbish beer though.

this isn't really a pub, I guess you would call it a club/bar, though to all intents and purposes it's a club with a weirdly timed and far too early 1am licence (with the new licencing laws you'd have thought they'd be able to shut a bit later). Anyway when looked at as a club it's pretty good - the music is usually of a high standard (mind you I'm a bit biased as my mates have run a couple of nights there)and they have live acts on too some nights. The main room is also a great space for dancing or watching bands. However the service is generally poor and the drinks overpriced (though probably fairly similar to other places like this). The back room also has a funny seating layout that makes it almost impossible to get acrross when the place is packed. oh and the toilets are minging. See it's a club, and that's why we shouldn't judge it too harshly, just sort out that licence!

Full of the stereotypical idiots Shoreditch/Brick Lane is now famed for. Lacklustre service at best and overpriced. Shame as it's in a prime spot, it's just run by fools and populated with idiots

oh i just can't be arsed with places like this anymore.

definatle all about Super Sundays, totally bizarre expositions, music and hair styling. Excelent scout hut vibe

Quite drab decor, but not to bad when it gets dark, but rather grim toilets. Some of the worst & slowest service I've experienced as even on a Friday night they only seem to have about 2 people serving.
Good if there is a big group of you as you can usually find room for everyone if you get there early enough and sometimes they play some groovy tunes.
The painfully slow service is a major turn off though

Definitely one of my favourite London bars. Best to go on a Sunday night when there's dancing on the tables + sheer drunken mayhem all round!

Pretty good vibe on a Late Sunny Sunday Afternoon - unfortunatly its a little drab the rest of the time.. Sometimes there are some exceptional dj's at this place. But on the whole hit and miss

Great for live music, but not really the sort of place to go for a catch up with mates. Try the Redchurch or Loungelover for somewhere more cosy&intimate.

Yeah, great seating arrangments, like really comfortable. Windows too big, colours a bit garish but good music. A waste of possibility.
Good for: Not me.

Good venue & music but expensive &...WHY SWITCH TO BOTTLES ONLY MID-EVENING!!!! It's so annoying having paid to get in to then have Shoreditch Tw@t barstaff serve bottles only. When I pulled up the barman he said I'd have to talk to the manager - surprise surise the manager was AWOL.
Guys - try listening to your customers.

not a real pub - more like a bar/club - very good atmosphere - very good live DJs - closes at 1.00AM on weekends -

This is one of the nicest places to go to. It has some of the best nights around and good beer. It is overpriced but anywhere in that area is. The people are friendly and I have always had a good night there. I recomend it to anyone who likes music and friendly people.

Full of posers and overpriced. If you've any respect for yourself, you'll stay a long way away from this place. Its only saving grace is the odd decent gig.
