this pub is really great for anyone wishing to see planes taking off and landing. My 2 year old son loves it. Can I just ask if anyone found a digital camera there on Tuesday 18th July 2006 could they please contact me

Not really a fan of taking kids to pubs,but if you must,this is ideal.The biggest beer garden I`ve ever seen,with bouncy castle etc.in summer,and no way for them to escape except though the pub.Also they don`t let them in the main pub so it`s not too bad if your not with kids either.

Not been to this pub, but when I have flown from here, the beer garden almost seems to be on the edge of the taxiway. For Kids this must seem great. Beer garden always got kids in due to play area. But if, like me, you love flying & planes this must be a great pub

Plesant pub for families and Plane spotters.
the real locals go in the Vault,pool table & TV for football. more City than United

A wonderfull place to go , nice selection of beer and food on offer , picnic tables , play area and aircraft taking off in front of you or wind direction changes to taking off over you... Go now

What a fantastic location for a pub, my daughter was well impressed with the beer garden and play facilities they have there, add to this the enjoyment she got from watching the planes coming into land, well it really was an enjoyable afternoon.

Scruffy council estate pub. Back 'garden' is tatty but has some picnic tables you can stand on for better view over the chain link. The best location you'll find for viewing aircraft as they queue and turn onto runway 24 in front of you. Has a car park too.
