As the picture shows, the pub is down a narrow side street beside Barclays bank. 2 changing beers from local brewers - yesterday from Cotswold and Prescott at £2.90. Friendly place worth finding.

Quite relaxing dark old pub with a few tables outside. Never seen it busy and it's not cheap but a safe stop for anyone wanting a good pint of ale or Guinness (I can't take lager drinkers seriously).

Basic, shabby but generally OK locals pub. Beer (pint of Betty Stoggs) was unexceptional and the food untried but VERY cheap.

Normally ended up in here on a Monday evening, as you would expect it was very empty. the local at the bar and the then owner were friendly. have not been back since it changed hands. Guinness was fine

Down an alleyway of the main street south (Southgate St.) with an 'olde worlde' look outside. A quite smallish town pub with just Doom Bar and Severn Vale's Severn Nations on handpump. The Severn Nations was nice and drinkable and it seems a pleasant oasis from the bustle of the nearby town centre.

popped in for the first time the other week. very much a locals pub, a little intimidating but the real ale I sampled was fine,
