NOW THEN PEOPLE if any of you have been ripped off by the thieving piece of scum you can meet up with this trollop tonight 27/08/11 at Weatherspoons from 7.30 pm onwards or the george and dragon from 9.30 hopefully the little scrote will drink itself to death very soon we can only hope So the people of Kendal watch out if it is not nailed down this ameoba brained slag will steal it and think nothing of it

Now what a suprise the pub is closed the "landlady" has done a moonlight flit
well all the new plans did`nt last long
still she has a reputation for stealing money from folk
never mind the under the bar dealing
good riddance to this piece of scum i say and a good point for Kendal if it has done a bunk for good

Its a pity that nasty comments are always anonymous, thanks to Dumbrian (Dumbrain !) for the constructive criticism, obviously he, she or it is one of the "chavs" banned during the clean up process, shame they haven't got the guts to leave their real name.

Heard this chav pub had been taken over "yet again" Went for a pint "very very dodgy" Imagine my suprise when it turns out it`s the local alcoholic town bike running the very very bad show.
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE IS IN TOWN
still has previous comments suggest it keeps them all in one place so keeps Kendal safer for the decent people.

Absolutely wonderful place to drink. Lovely people, great service, good range of beers and good craic.
Ignore Sooty and friends who are just out to tarnish the reputation of this valuable Kendalian institution. Lovely place to drink, recommended.
|
I hear it's open again but it's still one to avoid at all costs.
|
It a real shame that its closed as the Masons provides a very valuable service to Kendal - keeps the dross in one place!

Not another review but an update. This pub is now closed. Under renewal and the lease is up for offer. No surpises there.

WHAT A DUMP!!!!!!!!!!

What a complete and utter dive. Ever opened a pub door and realised you have made a mistake? At 9 on a Friday night, this sorry joint had 3 people in it, till we went in. I would doubt if the barmaid has had time to forget her 18th birthday yet or her two dodgy pals sipping cheeky vimtos. Turned into a real chavarama when their hoodie boy pals turned up and were told to help themselves to change from the till for the slot machines. Of all the nice pubs we could have chosen we stumble into the worst boozer I have seen in years. Shame. This is obviously a once decent place, dying of neglect.
