Every comment remains valid as of 2018, especially regarding the type of drinkers in there. However - to my surprise - they've refurbished the bathrooms, new tiles, sinks etc, and so gladly no odours to report. They really could do with replacing the front signage as the plywood is rotting away, doing so would definitely entice more passers-by into the place.
£3.50 for a Guinness, which was quite a good pint.

Completely horrendous. It's a typical Irish pub - not touristy rubbish, just full of irish locals. unfriendly as hell- as you walk in you just get a row of pissed off faces. sullen silence from the irish and loud shouts from the underage teen drinkers in the corner - the place is dreadful. the toilets haven't been cleaned for years and the owner clearly has no idea what a vacuum cleaner is.
If you want to go to a genuine Irish working pub, this is the place for you. only you won't enjoy it all the same, unless you're a teenager without fake ID or an irish local.

Rundown and initially uninviting however once the Barmaid (Landlady) and the band of locals around the bar realised we weren’t going to trash the place it was quite relaxed. The pub has certainly seen better days but in a way you’d expect nothing less in a boozer in this part of town. A collection of interesting characters were enjoying their Saturday night and the mood was good with lots of laughter although we didn’t engage anyone to “make new friends”.
Drank the draught lager which was fine. A trip to the gents was interesting to say the least. The stench of p was overpowering – I half expected men in yellow suits with biohazard stickers on them to come rushing out.
Not a drinker you’d seek out and if I was in the area I might / might not return. Good if you like to enjoy places of yesteryear that are just about clinging on.

A proper old-fashioned sort of place, but rather tatty and (to be frank) a bit smelly. No real ale, so had to do with keg Worthington. Some curious looks from the locals, but not unfriendly.

Friendly enough place. The first time I had been in it but was made to feel welcome. As SomersetChris says a ggod spot to relax, read the paper and have a pint after work. I can imagine is really busy when Celtic games are on though!

Depends what you want in a pub. A typical estate pub full of working class people. Nothing special, no real ales, but a quiet spot to relax.

A proper drinkers pub that doesn�t try to be anything else, a throwback to the type of place that perhaps we didn�t value enough 20 years ago. A place to write out a 20p yankee and maybe pick up something for dinner from the estate�s entrepreneurs.

Neighbourhood pub, home to the London Celtic Supporters Club which meets there regularly (& Celtic matches are shown, of course). Also has occasional live music: folk/traditional. Uninteresting beer choices, and sometimes the regulars can give an unwelcoming impression.
