Thought the place was a sh-t hole, beer quality poor, over priced drinks, rude staff, and toilets that smel like a swap. Cabaret, although generally good, but can tend to be a bit predictive, I know it's Clapham and shabby chic, but shabby is about right.

THE BEST BAR IN CLAPHAM!!

FANTASTIC!! A Great Place to spend your Weekends or even for a Few Drinks on a Week Night!!

Some of the Staff are a bit "Clicky" but Most are Really Friendly & Very Helpful!! I Love this Place!! I know if I go here with my Mates for a Night out I'm gonna have a Great Night!!

Its a "STRAIGHT FRIENDLY" Venue - I've even taken my Straight Brother along a few times & He's had a Great Time!!

Simply the best night out in London. Great door staff, fantastic staff, the BEST muzic. Always an A1 nite, never any trouble. Special mention for Chris and Iain at the bar. 12 out of 10. Agree with last poster, wherever you live this club is worth a visit.

i love the brewers! im a straight woman who has lots of gay friends and ive never heard of a 'no gay' policy on the door? ive always been made 2 feel more then welcome by door/bar staff! great music, cheap & varied drinks *the only bar in clapham 2 serve fanta lemon wahhhhho* and top cabaret acts! i LOVE sandra, 5 door charge is money well spent as far as im concerned. The back bar is always PACKED with people dancin, great fun. 2BREWERS RULES!

Don't go very often, but I've never failed to have a good night here. Karaoke is great fun. A youngish crowd, lots of seating, efficient bar staff... Pretty easy to pick up in too, which can only be a good thing.

Last time I went they had one of those bloody toilet attendants who expect a quid for squeezing soap into your hands and passing you a paper towel, which is a HUGE no-no.

Wandered in here by accident on a chilled Friday night - really liked it. Cheap drinks (certainly cheaper than lots of other places in Cla'm), good beer selection, funky music, relaxed atmosphere.

I've had some great nights in the Two Brewers, but the one thing that really annoys me is that sometimes they have a 'no gay' policy on the door. I am not gay but many of my friends are. What would happen if I went into a 'straight' club with one of my gay friends and they wouldn't be allowed in because they are gay? Why can't I go and hang out with my gay friends in a gay club once in a while? Bouncers - calm down - be a bit more friendly and stop being so bloody snooty!

Just found this web ref for the Brewers. Have lived abroad since mid 80's when the place gave me a good time 7 nights a week! Haven't been back since mid-90s. Was afraid it might have changed too much. So, some people say it's bad and others say it's good. Is it still a gay pub? Hope so? Maybe it's the people who've changed?
Somebody tell me that it's worth coming back for a visit. I've got fantastic memories of the place as it was my first time to a gay pub. Made some great friends there, especially with the staff.

Used to get on really well with everyone, then I got chucked (can't remember why). Is a good place, shame it's full of bent shots

Great Pub. cheap drinks (finally). i go several times per week, and the atmosphere can be very different from day to day.

A rip off. I have been in several times when there has been no draught drinks available and have still been charged 5 to get in. Management is dreadful and the atmosphere quite hostile. Brewery owned, this place is taking the mickey out of a captive gay market with little choice in the area. The rear 'club' room is an embarassment.

PAM AM IS COMING BACK TO THE 2SEWERS! She'll be back on Sundays again.
Shame that the refurbishment was a disaster, as they have now brought back the cabaret and made it more lively again. HEHE! Friday's the best night - always busy and no attitude

This is my local. Used to be amazing fun about a year ago, but has lost it's appeal since being seriously refurbished. If they can play some fun decent, camp music i'm sure the 2Brewers will once again return to it's former glory! (Get PAN ANN back please :)

Fantastic. They've re-fitted again (May I believe) - and got it right this time. Was there on Sunday. Great entertaining cabaret and a dj that actually plays the music people are asking for.dj Reardon and cabaret Dolly.Fab girl !

What the hell happened here. It's about a year and a half since I visited.Awful.Drinks prices sky high, crap cabaret on a Sunday, and the music next door was awful. And a bloody door charge too.I asked to see the manager and was told he had gone to bed.Apparently some mates told me he was sitting at the end of the bar pissed.Very unfriendly in there. Not enough bar staff.Bloke in the front bar (quite old) playing the records waS moaning how he had been sacked.Shame as his music was quite good, especially compared to the room next door - which incidentally was empy.Never again.

Great nightclub is Two Brewers on Clapham High Street. Some of the best music I have heard in a long time is on Saturday nights in the club part. Dancing to Mark Munroe (best DJ nomination from me). If you like trance and to dance the night away, give it a go. Great atmosphere too.

Great pub, huge toilets for a good time, great drag acts on at the weekend, many a good night had in there. Get yourself warmed up in The Bar, wimbledon, then get yourself down here to finish off the night, Magic, assorted flavours in the toilets also.
