Now shut and never to return as they renovate the station.

There's nothing special about this pub, but then again it's fairly harmless. It's another "made up" sort of place with fixtures and fittings to give the impression of something much older than it really is. I understand that the beers all Shepherd Neame ales masquarading under Davy's titles. I made the mistake of drinking out of one of the pewter tankards. It's really not worth it.

It's probably a OK place to go with a large group (especially if they're drinking wine), just don't expect too much.

Good atmosphere. Very friendly staff and excellent service.

This is a Davys wine bar, with the usual flagstone floors and disused barrels on display, both as decoration and being used as tables. They had Davys Old Wallop on, but I went for the Shepherd Neame Late Red. It was pretty good, but at 3.85 a pint Ill probably give this place a miss in the future.

Fairly grim, nothing-like-as-old-as-it-pretends-to-be, cavern underneath London Bridge station. Had to ask, very firmly, and several times, to get my pint of 'Ordinary' topped-up, but at least it wasn't served in a Davy's usual ghastly pewter tankard.
