Awful place, that is so loud and unpleasant, you'll want to leave as soon as you get inside. Polite staff however; Though, the less said about the gorillas on the doors the better. Not a good place to go with friends either, as there are a lot of unsavoury types that give strangers very uncomfortable looks. Plus, it seems to be a mecca fro trouble at closing time. Stay well clear.

So many glowing reviews in one day. If only the bar staff were this busy when working behind the bar. All previous postings suggest this place is a dump. I smell a rat. 0/10

The place goes off on a Saturday night, loads of fun, great place to have a drink with friends. Drinks are cheap, food is good, and is in a good location. Staff are friendly and loads of hot guys around!!

Belushi's Hammersmith is a good night our for all, there is aways a football or rugby match or sporting event being shown. There is always music for all tastes too - ranging from Open Mic night on a Sunday, Karaoke night on a Monday and a DJ every night with a variety of different music. The bar staff are always friendly and even when busy always try to help with anything that they can. The pub attracts a nice variety of Londoners and also backpackers who visit London and stay in the hostel above.

I LOVED it. I went on a saturday night and the place went off. The atmosphere was great. The bar staff were really friendly and actually looked like they were having a good time. Drinks were cheap, the music was good and the crowd fun. The food was alright for the price you pay and the location was perfect, right outside the tube station, and plenty of buses. I dont know what everyone else is talking about, I had a really good night out, and i will definantly be going back again.

they sell Parmos! best thing I have found as a northerner living in London! taste great too... good atmosphere, with great staff, might need a paint job but the food was fab

went in there last week, staff were friendly and the parmy was amazing. Not the prettiest bar in the land, but more than made for that with the amount of good looking girls in there.

Got my vote.

Was in the Hand & Flower the other night and at closing time the two guys next to me said they were off to Belushi's for some "stuff" Never been to Belushie's and I never want to.

This place is a real dump, the beers are awful and this place needs to be turned back into the George and soon as possible !!

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP AND MAYBE HAVE A DRUGS RAID AT THE SAME TIME. I've seen under-age drinking that the bar staff are aware of and don't give 2 shits about. people lining up cocaine in the toilets. It stinks like someone has taken a shit in the corner of the bare. I've seen people in there eating the food. WTF. I wouldn't eat the food here. Prob been sitting there for months. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN

Bulushi's are generally lacking in anything other than 18-23 debachery nights out, and im way past that, but the one time I have been in here, it wasn't what id call totally dire...
There isn't nearly enough seating to go around, and the bar staff do look abit miserable, but there was an open mike night on on my visit with an enthusiatic and decent crowd, and the girls in here were nice eye candy if im honest...
Food was decent enough. Wouldnt go out of my way to return, but it did the trick...

If you're young and don't know much about decent pubs, or decent beers - it's adequate enough. Handy for the backpacking crowd but not much else to recommend. Also noticed; some of the chaps here seem to be on heat. Put it this way, pop into the gents for more than 2 mins & some lech is already chatting up your lady friend. Commendable for having the courage to do so in such a short time but I'd rather you didn't all the same...

nice pub, shame the bar staff are always coked up, and the door staff are so eager to get you out at the end of the night!

The comments say it all, but what an utter dive. I'm ashamed to say I've ever been in it, but the brief time I did spend inside was enough to know I'll never go back.

Simply ghastly. There's not much else to be said.
Amy_J - 11 Sep 2009 11:04
It's all been said...basically a cheap and no frills joint which you either hate or tolerate. Beer tastes fine and the best that could be said is when I went there was a choice of 2! Not a destination pub!

I recently had my first visit here since the pub had changed from the hole that was The George. The barman that served me was on another planet and poured my pint of Guinness in one go giving it the mother of all heads. I was going to complain, but I didn’t see the point as I was glad to finish up and leave anyway.

I actually preferred The George which is a massive slur on the management of this pub.

Staff are absolutely terrible. On my first visit (having been a Belushi's veteran) i asked politely whether they would be offering 2 4 1 Corona (as all other Belushi's do). Was told to bring my own if i wanted a deal like that!!

The set out of the pub is rubbish.

The only thing it has going for it is its location and late licence.

It was even better as the George!

I visited this bar with some friends on the way to a football match and wish I had not bothered. The atmosphere was nearly non existent, the choice of beers woeful (not a single ale on when I visited) and lots of selfish computer users taking up a whole table and four chairs just so they could use the wireless internet. There were plenty of staff around but none seemed to be doing anything other than standing about, so it took a while to be served. We did stay long enough for food and this was another disappointment. For what we paid for it, what we received was also poor. The steak sandwich did have some meat in it, but whatever meat it was, none of us were sure. It also took a long time to turn up. All in all, a very disappointed visit and I will not be in any hurry to return.

Working nearby, I recently visited this pub for the first time since its rather dubious re-branding. I wish I hadn't bothered. There were absolutely no bitters available - a situation the young barman was at a loss to explain. The table tops were sticky and the corporate rock murals depressing. This is a shame, because in the right hands I'm sure it could be a really fine old pub. One day maybe.

I too remember this as a rather unpleasant and dour place and being taken over by the Belushis chain was hardly likely to change my opinion. Walking past (as I always have) I spotted a couple of handpumps and with time to kill thought I would also give it a chance. A giant mural of the Clash’s London Calling first caught the attention, a decent enough start, and further rock posters extend along a wall to the rear of the pub where they were setting up for an evening of 3 live bands. The facilities for live music seemed to reasonable with plenty of speakers and decent lighting although I ddn’t actually hang around for the music. As for the beers, Pride & Bombardier don’t exactly show too much in the way of adventurism but along with the wine and cocktails, were reasonably priced. My pint was however a woefully short measure and the barman virtually ran off before I could get a chance to challenge it. The interior was quite open apart from 3 or 4 supporting pillars and there is a variety of seats and tables, multi screens and a DJ booth. Overall it was a happy mix of pub, bar and club – a bit of something for everyone and I surprisingly felt quite comfortable here although it has a long way to go to be rated as anything other than average.

As The George, it was always the sort of pub that one took a brief look at, and then kept on walking... As Belushi's, I did at least give it a (very) quick try and was 'impressed' with the total lack of atmosphere...
