Kings Arms, Bexleyheathback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
good pub, nice atmosphere but a bit too small!!

This pub is little bit tired, most of the clientele are the wrong side of 40, and big Chas and Dave fans (singing along to the jukebox) when I last visited. New Ladylady's trying to turn this pub around but the jury's definately out!

I've lived in Bexleyheath for 32 years but never been in this pub before today. The first impression I got of the pub was that is stunk of urine. This was in the bar, not the toilet. The only real ale I could see was Courage Best which wasn't bad but £2:90 a pint was 35P dearer than The Volunteer where I'd been earlier. Of the two I'd certainly chose the Volunteer.

The Kings Arms, what a great traditional pub, nice food, good atmosphere, friendly staff, quiz on a tuesday night, sky and setanta sports, good real ale, possibly the only pub on the broadway you can take your partner and have a sensible drink any time of day and night and weekend, great stuff, cheers

The below review is currently on the page of the nearby Bricklayers Arms, but the pub I am actually referring to is this one, The Kings Arms. A complete cock up on my part, I can only apologise. I’ve never even visited The Bricklayers Arms!
My visit was way back in October 06, so I suppose is a little out of date. Better late than never though!
Prior to last Fridays visit (13th Oct), my only previous time spent in The Bricklayers Arms was one Saturday afternoon a couple of years back. It was a scruffy old dump then and while the fairly recent refurbishment has been successful, the pub has seemingly retained the run-down feel of old. Despite this though, there is a definite warmness to this pub, which it distinctively lacked on my last visit. With both a Lloyds Bar and regular ‘Spoons nearby, this pub isn’t the cheapest in the area (though it certainly isn’t dear), yet if you prefer your fellow customers to be little more on the mature side and your drinking venue a little more traditional, then you could do worse than this old watering hole.

had a meal in here ages ago which was very nice, but as it was so long ago I cant really comment, seems to be geared up to the passing trade from the busy shops as it's locality on the fringe of the pedestrianised area right next to asda,
