Typical Harvester, you get what you order every time, handy for popping in on the way back from Tescos. Great value 'Earlybird' scheme before 6:30.

I would not eat or drink here again, food is very greasy, and after witnessing the way a member of staff spoke to a couple about the location of their childs high chair, I will certainly avoid this pub in future.

we can't resist the steaks, simple but always well cooked and presented.

I have rarely had a a bad meal at this pub...which I've known for many years. The 'hands-on' manager...Alan Taylor...really ensures you enjoy your evening. Never afraid to make an idiot of himself to raise money for charity, or increase sales, his pub is worth a visit.

Since they built the flyover, the Cooper Dean has become isolated. There now is heavy traffic going by in all directions - and it is easy to miss. Anyway, it is just a standard pub - and you are not missing anything by not going there.
