Lovely little pub tucked away on a backstreet. The main room has comfy settees and looks very inviting, and the 'ballroom' is perfect for concerts. Not many ales, but they pour a decent pride of London Pride. Friendly staff too!

We probably weren't open... ; )
We only open in the evening (from 7pm Monday to Friday and 6pm Saturday and Sunday) and only when we have something on in the Ballroom... we're aiming for this to be every night soon but it's currently six out of seven nights. You can see our listings on the calendar page of our website (www.thecavendisharmsstockwell.co.uk ) so you can see in advance when we're open.

Is this place actually open? I went to have a look a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't find any way of getting in. Whoever owns this place needs to unlock the gates and doors!

This is brilliant and accommodating pub. Just had my office Christmas party in 'The ballroom'...excellent friendly service, great entertainment and a superb food. Good selection of beers and wines in a relaxed but stylish surroundings. Can't wait to try out the comedy and music nights...

Just a quick note to say thanks very much for your hospitality on Sat night, and for putting up with me and my slightly raucous friends! We really enjoyed the live acts and thought the venue was lovely and very unique. Congratulations on a great bar, you’ve done a fab job doing it up and hopefully the word will spread quickly (although not so much that we wont be able to get in!!!)
