I went to this pub at 5.00pm sat there had a few drinks with my girlfriend at 7.00pm i was chucked out as you could not wear trainers after 7.00pm so i recommend you take some shoes in a bag or you will be out regardless of how much money you have spent!!

Chrome & glass & over priced drinks. Why on earth would anyone bother when there are so many good pubs in York?

Dont understand some peoples comments. Half price food on a Monday, Wines that are normally £19 down to less than £10 a bottle on a Wednesday in fantastic surroundings, friendly staff and great service. A must in my book!!!

Nice views over the river but £3.10 a pint for becks vier and bit too aimed at tourists n yanks....

As if the Slug and Lettuce in Swinegate wasn't bad enough, they inflict this on us. Go to the Kings Arms around the corner for drinks at half the price.

I would rather fall on a my sword than visit this place. Best thing is that the Maltings or Kings Arms aren't far away.
