Uninterested staff, dirty tables, dreadful Abbott, average food for an Old English Inn. The bar was filled with Japanese tourists when I visited today. The way they were treated by the staff must have put them off ever going into another English pub. Typical tourist pub with unmotivated young staff.

Another synthetic Bourton pub. though its passably nice to sit outside by the river amongst all the tourists mind. Beer is restricted to Greene King ones, The Mousetrap would be my recommendation for Bourton.

The pint of Abbot I was served here yesterday was colder than the coldest lager I've ever had. Wtf?

Very average pub. The Kingsbridge down the road is a lot better.

Stone-built village pub. Front beer garden, by stream.
Greene King old English inn.
Accommodation and restaurant.
Cask ales : greene king abbot, Morland speckled hen
a particularly attractive area most of the year.
well visited!

Service unfriendly, typical tourist 'get 'em in and get 'em out'. Go over the road to the welly. Overpriced

The Old Manse is okay. The usual GK suspects on the pulls. I went with the Abbot.
Service was okay to indifferent. Place was busy. Nice location next to the river. In the right weather sitting outside as the river flows by would be nice. thousands of tourists may make it less relaxing however.

A bit of a tourist trap like most pubs in Bourton, but the setting is lovely, with outside seating right on the river. The inside is bland beyond belief, despite the ancient stone building. Service a bit slow too, waited 5 mins at the bar with no sign even of a barman! However, the pint of Old Speckled was really first rate, one of the best kept I've ever had.
