Has just been refurbished. Had never been there before. It's okay but it's your typical expensive Irish type pub. £3.00 for a pint of Magners.

Great character - veryt spacious. Intelligent affable and foxy barmaids, great Guinness! You can even read the books!

One to avoid if you want real ale. Went in mid-week. Two hand pumps - neither of which produced anything drinkable.

A wonderful pub! Good beer, well kept and good conversation with intelligent people. Staff totally coherent (unusual for Liverpool!) Will visit again and again.

Its great! The comedy nights in the basement are fantastic and the free aftershow chilli and rice is to die for.

Really nice pub in the office quarter. Packed on Friday lunchtimes, and busy most of the rest of the time.
Quality Guinness and a nice atmosphere as well.

A great boozer, with a great lunchtime menu, friendly staff, a superb comedy club, the best in live music and the best Guinness in the north west
